About
Located in the North Tucson area, SaddleBrook Ranch Golf Club borders the Santa Catalina Mountains. The course meanders through the high Sonoran desert, incorporating natural washes into the design and providing stunning mountain views from almost every hole. Abundant desert flora and fauna further enhance the rugged, gently rolling terrain. The golf course offers a mix of challenging holes and player-friendly features, resulting in a layout with several interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to low and high handicappers equally. The player-friendly fairways are generous, allowing beginners to feel comfortable with ample room off the tees and rewarding thoughtful play. There are also carefully placed mounds, hollows, and bunkers along the large, receptive greens that provide opportunities to recover an errant shot. The golf course is made even more versatile with five different sets of tees.

Fun Course
Nice playable course - greens are in rough shape - pace of play was very good as it was cold that day. Back 9 is much more interesting than the front. Worth the drive!!

Poor maintenance
Greens were patchy and inconsistent all the way around. Painted fairways and greens are a joke. This course is not a bad layout but the poor conditions detract from the experience. .
Great Value on Christmas Day
We were a foursome with a 1030 tee time and finished in 3 hours. Course was in great shape and we’ll definitely be back.
Greens were really bad.
I wish there was some way to be informed when greens are bare and sanded. Person working behind the counter ( I would not say unfriendly) but I feel more welcome at Sewaillo, Arizona National, and Star Pass. Last trip to this goat ranch, I mean Saddlebrook Ranch. The greens were better when the Earp brothers roamed these parts.
Merry Christmas
Any time you can play a round of golf on Christmas Day without wearing a parka, it's a wonderful day. The fairways were green although some of it was because of the paint but it was beautiful in spite of it being somewhat breezy. Everyone was kind and courteous and welcoming. Although it's a bit of a drive to get there, it is a drive worth making. A beautiful day on a beautiful course.

Greatness maintenance
You had to start the round on #10, it was all backed up, they sanded the greens but did not tell you, putting was difficult at best
Bad Greens
The greens and collar and surrounding areas were soaked. The greens were in terrible shape. Dead spots, low spots and grass clumps. Also the greens had been painted to cover some of this up. Didn’t work.
Fun course
The usual winds were light, so the course played easier than usual. The greens have areas of this grass, but otherwise rolled fairly well.
Horrible greens
The greens are in terrible condition. For being prime season they are well below average. Bare spots on every green. The fairways are decent but several of them have been painted green. There are no amenities at the course. No cart service. The bar and grill that is near the course is great. Fantastic beers and great prices. But on the course it’s fend for yourself.
Poor conditions
Course is in terrible shape. Was like hitting off a range matt all day. Many greens in poor shape. Closing for overseeding a waste of time. The fairways are painted green. I am a resident here but will not play here again until they improve the conditions. Very disappointed.
