Course is in terrible shape. Was like hitting off a range matt all day. Many greens in poor shape. Closing for overseeding a waste of time. The fairways are painted green. I am a resident here but will not play here again until they improve the conditions. Very disappointed.

Tee boxes hard. Fairways rough. Greens in bad shape, nothing like the practice green. Golf shop worker rude. Overall bad experience. Residents are embarrassed of course conditions. This summer it was in better shape. Won’t go back for a while.

The staff and management are ageist against anyone who looks under 60. Makes me and friends feel less then from check in to check out. Showed up for a 2pm tee time at 1:58 and was held back till 3. Reason was we where "late". Never seen a golf course do this. We tried to ask and think of a solution like skipping the first hole but was turned down in a rude manner. Was hard to watch the people we were going to be paired with tee off while we are practicing putting knowing we should be on the tee box with them. Pace of play is slow and got yelled at for passing. Meanwhile an older couple did the same with no repercussions. I could maybe expect this from a world class course but not one who dyes their fairways to make them green. Mike Jahaske you are an embarrassment to the golf world.

Bumpy greensand painted fairways? Terrible grounds maintenance and rude staff

Not sure what has happen to this great course but the fairways are painted and the greens are in a sorry state. Also my golf cart died on the course. When the replacement cart arrived the attendant was rude and down right not customer friendly. Will not be spending one penny on play at your course in the future.

They seem to think Painting the fairways and greens is the way to go. The past 3 years this course has been a disaster. Save your money,. Go anywhere else.

Coarse in goods condition. Staff dealing well with the virus

Living in Catalina, the course is very convenient. The cost, through Golfnow, is very reasonable. The course, itself, is in pretty good shape. Sand traps are the best in town. They, actually, have sand in them. Tee boxes are good, fairways are ok and the greens are ok. The greens need more rye grass because there are bare spots and, there could be some mold on them. They do putt ok and, in fact, are pretty fast. I do know that they spray disinfectant on the carts, every night. Overall rating is GOOD !!!!!!

The course is nice but in winter they pair u up and cram a lot people on the course and residents cut into the game at the 10th hole, and u never finish 18 holes , it’s a logistical mess, need another bathroom station, don’t have time to take bathroom break at the 9th hole or u lose ur place, also got shamed for my attire, who does that to women these days in 100 deg heat ! But overall it’s ok

I play this course in the winter. The winter of 2019 (Jan - Mar) it was in excellent condition and played 10 rounds here and would give it a 4.5 star.. During the winter of 2020 they had some issues with the practice green and had many of the fairways painted so not as good and a 3 star rating. Hopefully the winter of 2021 we will see conditions like we saw in 2019. The clubhouses have excellent food and tremendous setting for after the round if you need a 19th hole.

Who ever is setting your cups in place is not using a cup setter. This is causing almost all of the cups to have a slight crown or volcano affect around them. So if you hit a putt with just enough speed to roll into the cup, the small incline slows it down and it doesn't go in. This also happens on a putt that is slightly off center, the crown causes the ball to roll away from the hole. I played with 3 others and we estimated the improper seating of the cups caused at least 25 strokes to our combined score This should be a very easy problem for you to fix..

Well run course. Efficient procedures made for a little less than 4 hour round. Carts and facilities were clean and well-manitained course.
