SaddleBrooke Ranch Golf Club
About
Located in the North Tucson area, SaddleBrook Ranch Golf Club borders the Santa Catalina Mountains. The course meanders through the high Sonoran desert, incorporating natural washes into the design and providing stunning mountain views from almost every hole. Abundant desert flora and fauna further enhance the rugged, gently rolling terrain. The golf course offers a mix of challenging holes and player-friendly features, resulting in a layout with several interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to low and high handicappers equally. The player-friendly fairways are generous, allowing beginners to feel comfortable with ample room off the tees and rewarding thoughtful play. There are also carefully placed mounds, hollows, and bunkers along the large, receptive greens that provide opportunities to recover an errant shot. The golf course is made even more versatile with five different sets of tees.

Saddlebrooke Ranch
The staff was rude,pompous,and unfriendly.
Who do they think they are ? No wonder they are losing money. The fairways were green but were cut too short and like playing on dead grass. The greens were sanded and still too fast. All this because they don’t water the course adequately.I didn’t see any sprinklers come on at night. To top it all off some clerk told me I had to have the cart back by 5:30 because there were no lights on the cart.I have never repeat never had any clubhouse character tell me that before. Then he was waiting for me at his car when I returned it.Who would want to golf at a course like this ? No ball washers, no GPS, no fairway distance markers. Don’t worry guys soon there will be no golfers and you can shut it down.
Staff and marshals
Staff and marshals are rude and too condescending, people at the course act like they own it, if you don’t live there they don’t want you there, will not be returning
Nice course
Very nice course! The only issue the the proximity of homes.
My only critique is that the fairways were very thin. Thicker grass on the fairways would have been nice and more forgiving. I know we are going into winter and conditions are changing.
Everything else was great!
Beautiful setting
I have played this course a few times in the past and find it to be a good value and a very nice course. There are a couple of tricky holes with washes in them, but overall a fun time!
Quality experience
4 hour 18 hole round pace of play 1:15 tee time 4some
Greens rolling a 12
Fairways and tee boxes in great condition
Range balls extra $ (not included)
No beverage cart
Great mountain views
Well managed and thorough/professional staff
Well done to all involved!
Enjoyed the round!
I had a great time playing the course. It would be nice if the fairways were over seeded. The dormant grass makes it difficult to have a nice lie.
Pure Greens
Greens and Tee Boxes are phenomenal. Rest of course was in good shape too but the greens are just so pure right now.
Amenities
The ball washers were removed during Covid and not replaced. Staff said it was a corporate decision not to replace. There are no beverage carts and water is available in only 1 place on back 9. Today's round was cart path only for all holes - given recent rains many areas were wet so that was justified.
Fastest Greens in the West
I've played this course many, many times and never had the greens this fast. I'm not complaining because they were in perfect condition. Totally enjoyed the round as the rest of the course was as expected.
