SaddleBrooke Ranch Golf Club
About
Located in the North Tucson area, SaddleBrook Ranch Golf Club borders the Santa Catalina Mountains. The course meanders through the high Sonoran desert, incorporating natural washes into the design and providing stunning mountain views from almost every hole. Abundant desert flora and fauna further enhance the rugged, gently rolling terrain. The golf course offers a mix of challenging holes and player-friendly features, resulting in a layout with several interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to low and high handicappers equally. The player-friendly fairways are generous, allowing beginners to feel comfortable with ample room off the tees and rewarding thoughtful play. There are also carefully placed mounds, hollows, and bunkers along the large, receptive greens that provide opportunities to recover an errant shot. The golf course is made even more versatile with five different sets of tees.

Course conditions were less than average
Found green speeds inconsistent; fairways were very firm.
Great atuff
Lovely course. Nice facilities. Friendly staff. Kim Hayek was especially friendly and helpful.
Excellent Course
Friendly staff, Challenging Course and great food options. Looking forward to playing again soon
Horrible conditions
I have never seen the golf course this rough before.
The Greens were ridiculous and some were spray painted.
I was truly amazed that it was this bad and embarrassed that I brought a visitor.
Nice course for the costs
Pace of play, despite frost delay, was excellent. Course is in good condition however I hate the painted fairways.
3 and 1/2 hours ona Sunday!
Great conditions, nice playing partners, fast play. Perfect!
No Disappointments, As Expected
Not our 1st round at Saddlebrook. Played with a couple of residents who were very friendly and welcoming. Although there has not been a lot of rain for a while, the staff are maintaining the course to nice playable conditions.
Careful
I had 39 putts on superfast greens, but they do hold on your approach shots longer than 60 yards. They do not break as much as you think, except when they break way more than you think.
The course is fair, wide spaces for your tee shot. The Fairways are painted green, I think, with close cut, hibernating summer grass. Ball was green by the end and it would not come off. Rolls a long way, tho.
Didn't land in a bunker, but playing partner did ok from them and didn't complain. If you don'tknow Tucson, it's kinda rare to find decent bunkers here. Course mgmt usually to cheap to either buy sand or pay staff to work the bunkers. I'm sure they can point to some philosophical positive to explain it away. Many people just take a free drop from the bunkers now.
