Clear Creek Golf Course

The staff tried to force me to ride with someone that I was not sure was vaccinated. I had to pay and additional fee for my single cart.

Under publicized. Great track. Worth the drive from Houston. Will be playing again soon

Course was in decent shape, despite the fairways being riddled with infilled divots, but the greens rolled well. The largest issue was pace of play. Started off with two groups waiting at the first hole, while a group was on the tee, a group in the fairway and a group on the green. The group in front of us were obviously beginners and were playing off the white tees (ca.6300yds). Half of the time, all four players failed to make it past the red tees with their tee shots, and this included par threes. If Marshall’s actually existed in America at regular courses, they would have been asked to play off the front tees for everyone’s benefit, including their own. Instead of 4-5 shots to reach the green on a par three or 12-15 shots, with extra golf balls on par fours and fives. We started just past noon and barely finished before dark. Simple attention from staff can easily avoid this issue in the future. But only at private courses here and in the U.K. have I ever witnessed proactive marshalls and conscientious players.

Had not played Clear Creek for a long time, and was very pleased with the Clubhouse renovations, and the conditions of the Course

Everything was better than expected.

Good course, fast pace and friendly staff….highly recommended for residents and visitors.

Saw this place had some bad reviews about condition so was a little sceptical about booking I needn’t have been!

Course in good condition greens scary fast and loads of curves and wicked breaks to read the only criticism is there are a few un expected blemishes on greens that can throw your ball off course or slow it down this was more likely due to spike marks than poor green keeping

Fairways in good condition and the layout especially on back 9 gets tight some really hard but interesting holes !

If you miss fairway the ball can get thrown into trouble as it bounces hard ( stay in fairways then )

Lots of stay away from water holes to negotiate

Pace of play slow but not too bad for a Sunday afternoon I suppose

Well worth another visit see if I can do better and think my way around

We teed off at 2:18 and finished only 12 holes by 6:15 - due to the groups ahead of us. Better to start in the morning when you would have more daylight.

Good course with decent layout. The pace of play was not great and there was no marshal. Could be better but I would play again if it was closer
