Clear Creek Golf Course
About
Clear Creek Golf Course is a flat, wide-open links-style track loaded with water and bunkers. The only sort of elevation changes you'll experience come from the ravines that route through the course and the undulating greens.
The back nine is the more challenging, spiced up by some interesting par 3s and two outstanding par 5s. Clear Creek's 11th hole goes 555 yards and involves an approach over a ravine, and No. 13 is a 584-yard monster that double-doglegs to a skinny green framed by bunkers.

Slick greens
First time back to Clear Creek in over a decade. While I generally remember the course layout, the ever present wind and the sound of remote controlled aircraft around the course, the greens were faster than I remembered. It is good to see that they are still getting plenty of rounds on weekends, but like most places these days, the course could use some rain...maybe that’s why the greens were so slick.
Bunkers back
Bunkers are full of sand and in great shape-no rakes yet-that’s OK.
Greens great and running 10-11 watch out for down hill putts
Course in great shape but slow play at times. Need starter and Marshall
Staff was nice.
It just keeps getting better
Have now played the course from spring through the heat to our great fall weather. The greens are private club level. The fairways are done suffering the heat. The course layout, green contours etc make this little dandy tough enough but enjoyable.
Play
Would not recommend this course at all. Had a tee time for 1:30 checked in at twelve chipped around for a bit. Didn’t see a start so started playing an hour before my tee time. The greens weren’t really maintained there was no rough it was pretty much cut the same length as the fairway. Only long grass I saw was surrounding the water hazards. Bunkers were very poorly maintained liked washed out and had like pebble rocks in the sand, hit a few in the bunkers and took them out and played the ball right in front of bunkers.
Good Value, terrible pace of play
Went on a Saturday at 1pm and there was no starter. They just checked us in at the proshop and nothing else. Once we made it to the first tee box, there was a line of people all trying to figure out who was next and comparing tee times. It was a disaster and we played behind 2 teams. It would have been a 7 hour round of golf but we left on the 13th because it was ridiculously slow.
Terrible experience
Played here on a saturday and there was not starter, Marshall driving around or anything. Left on the 11th tee box because there was a 6 some in front of us f*ing around. Place is in terrible condition. Weeds everywhere and legitimate rocks in the sand traps. Went to go speak to a manager when leaving to complain and no one was there except for one employee. ON A SATURDAY. I hate this place. Disgrace to golf, having fun, drinking cold ones and pretty grass. I wrote a note asking for the manager to call me and I never receive a call. Disputing the credit card charge and I’m writing this review only to recent others for going through this horrific experience. If you like golf, this place is a hazard if you get what I mean. You don’t want to go there. I would rather someone tee off my face with a 4 iron than step foot near this God forsaken “course”.
Insects on the course
The course was in a good shape but too many insects bite on the course .
Horrible pace of play
My tee time was for 1229, but didn’t actually get a cart until 1240. Drove to the first tee and a foursome had just teed off and drove away. There was nobody else around so I drove back to the pro shop to ask who I am playing with. He said the group I was supposed to be with had just teed off and to “catch up”. How? It was a foursome... Then when I get back to the first tee there was a single with a push cart walking away as he teed off alone while I was asking the pro shop. 2 other guys pull up and said they played the back nine first. We joined up and took about 2 and a half hours to play 9. Slow pace of play combined with a ton of mosquitos I decided to call it quits after nine. It’s a great course for the money, but I guess this is also what comes along with it. There needs to be a starter at the first tee to keep things organized because it’s basically a free for all.
Bad Management
Tee time reservations aren’t honored, you just hop on whenever ur ready, no warden to keep pace, groups aren’t determined and just complete chaos. Even had random group of 2 come up behind us and tell us to hurry when clearly there was a 2 groups of 4 ahead of us, lagging as well, and even hit their shots behind us when we weren’t off the fairway... seemed like no golf etiquettes being used here AT ALL...
