Clear Creek Golf Course

walking only, round took about 4.5 hours. Fairways were in good shape, greens weren’t in particularly good condition but playable. Bunkers aren’t in great condition but ok. Overall a decent course. They used pool noodles so ball doesn’t go all the way down which is a good way of going about it.

Weather great, course nice.......what a relief!

For $20, Clear Creek is a DEAL. The good things are the course layout, which includes several surprisingly interesting holes, both long and short and even though the greens are rough looking, they rolled true and faster then average.

No Marshall’s, however, means that slow groups can kill pace of play. On 9 tee box, we arrived B4 the group ahead BEGAN to tee off. We could see all of 9 and 10 and both holes were open. We moved all the way up to them and they finally asked us if we wanted to play through and we did. Never saw them again.

Only played 6 holes did not know I had to use a walker would not have played should get credit back

I have played this course many times, but made the mistake of playing on the weekend. I generally like the course and the staff is very friendly. However, I won’t be booking another tee time on the weekend. There was a 5-some that was booked in front of us. We tried calling the clubhouse around the 4th hole and asked them to check it out, but we ended up leaving after 9th hole. We teed off at 12:45pm and I walked off 9 at 3:30pm. :(

I used it for my friends and friends' debut match. Everyone is so happy and wants to go again.

2nd time playing. Showed up 50 minutes early. No carts available. Pace of play was sllooow. Over booked. Fairways were aerated. Greens were bumpy. Not a great experience. Staff was friendly though.

This course still some of the best greens on the south side of town. We played the back tees and it provided a much tougher round than the white tees. Great round of golf.

Winter greens.. bumpy and not consistent but that’s winter for you! Weekends at clear creek are ridiculous slow paced, overall course is playable!!

After 3 holes, we were an hour and a half into our round. Called the club house and asked for a refund, they rufused. Only offered a rain check for the holes we hadn’t played. We tried giving it a couple more holes, but just left without the rain check because they clearly don’t enforce pace of play.

Deceptively open layout but a technical course with great risk/reward. Often windy for an extra challenge.

Busy Saturday afternoon and there was no starter and no Marshalls. Pace of play was very slow.

Course in good shape

Great greens. Challengingly fast and hard pressed to find a straight putt. Couple of more rounds and I should have them conquered.

The course looks like it doesn’t have a sprinkler system. Bare, hum let me rephrase spots of grass surrounded by hard pan. The greens were splotchy with 3 types of grass. Course routing would be nice layout if someone would plant some grass and water it. Will not play again.

I played it today for the first time. The course is in excellent shape, Greens are very fast and in near perfect condition. Quite a bit of green elevation changes makes the putting quite challenging and fun. Both water and sand on most holes. Sand was challenging too. Cart paths flat and no breaks made it nice to ride on. Will absolutely go again.
