Clear Creek Golf Course
About
Clear Creek Golf Course is a flat, wide-open links-style track loaded with water and bunkers. The only sort of elevation changes you'll experience come from the ravines that route through the course and the undulating greens.
The back nine is the more challenging, spiced up by some interesting par 3s and two outstanding par 5s. Clear Creek's 11th hole goes 555 yards and involves an approach over a ravine, and No. 13 is a 584-yard monster that double-doglegs to a skinny green framed by bunkers.

Good Value
Plenty of water makes this course fairly challenging. Very fast greens. Gas carts with electronic scoring and GPS are a nice touch.
Great and challenging course, TERRIBLE pace of play.
Was lucky enough to be paired with a local member named Austin who was very friendly, it was almost like having a caddie he was so informative lol. We got to the course the day after it had rained really hard so I can't hold that against the course HOWEVER, the pace was so slow it was draining and took away from the fun the course had to offer. It took just over 5 hours and while there was a starter this course could greatly benefit from having a marshall. I would recommend this course however, be prepared for a long round.
Hire Working Marshals
Do you like 5 1/2 hour rounds? Do you like untucked shirts and jeans? No grass on the driving range? Then Clear Creek Golf Course is the place for you! I really enjoy the course layout but you never see a marshal trying to keep up the pace of play. If you do see one, they're usually looking for balls along the rough. Cart girls? Saw one in 5 1/2 hrs. That's how long it took to play 02-12-17.
My group used to play here every Sunday, but gave it up because of slow play. Tried it again after a year away and nothing's changed. Let's rename this place the Bear Creek of the Beltway. Oh, and if you go to the grill for a beer afterward you can be greeted by a smart mouth girl behind the counter who really loves her job. Save your money and go elsewhere......anywhere but here.
Clear Creek
Very nice course, people friendly as well as staff.
Tough Corse
1st time out in 2 yrs. 1st time on this course. Some blind shots which made holes harder. Should be easier next time onwhat to expect. Will play again very challenging. Greens in very condition.
Always Enjoy Clear Creek
The pins were in what my friend and I termed Super Sunday locations! Had too many three putts. I have played here a number of times even though I live in Atascocita, it's worth the drive. People will forget and forgive a courses fairways and condemn the greens if they are bad. The greens were in great shape, a little foreign grass near the edges, but hey this is February in Texas not Hawaii or Pebble Beach. Even so the greens were really rolling fast which made the pin locations even more treacherous.
I'm a current member at Tour 18 and I have been a member of Atascocita CC ( now The Preserve). Tour 18 is always in great shape, but it does not have GPS like this course (it used to, and yes I have my own, but it's nice to have one in the cart because it gives you distance to the pin, not just the center) Played The Preserve the day before since it had been a while, it is definitely improving from my last play over a year ago.
Go to Clear Creek and have a great time. The food there is good too. I wear the logged Clear Creek shirt I bought in the Pro Shop proudly.
Super Bowl week
Played Thursday before super bowl in Houston. Course is pack with is acceptable since houston is the site of supervbowl. For some reason the course is allowing walkers when there is a packed house. At one point there were 3 groups waiting on the 3rd tee box. Unacceptable for this course
Clear Creek golf club
Winter conditions were very good, course played well with no water.
A great course in a great location
We play Clear Creek a lot. We have always been impressed with the condition of the course and the professionalism of the staff. The kitchen is always clean and the staff makes you feel welcome. I recommend this course to all of my friends. We will be back!
It's January but the course is in good shape for winter. Not overly long or tight but with challenging multilevel greens. I have played it many times and will be back for sure.
Good course , good value for the money....
Our foursome includes Clear Creek as one of the places we frequent.....the course is well maintained, although the bunkers do some need attention....the layout is fair and competitive with the greens almost always in great shape...pace of play is around four hours and change but they could the presence of a marshall to push along the slower players....while we usually book thru GolfNow for our tee times, Clear Creek will honor online pricing which could save you some booking fees.....one note: there aren't many trees on the 18 hole layout so the wind plays a factor here.
Nice course
Our first time here it's decently challenging greens are tough to read to make up for a very flat Texas fairways and overall layout. For $25 weekday including cart sleeve of balls and one drink ticket it's a very good deal!
Average
Fairways are dry. Greens are average-- a little slow and bumpy but reasonably receptive. Fairways and rough are indistinguishable and a little hard and bare. Tee boxes need some attention. None of the tee boxes face the fairway or green which is a little annoying. Bunkers have pebbles if they are not bare. Course layout isn't too exciting and is very flat. Overall average municipal course. Wouldn't bring friends to play but for a cheap weekday round is ok.
Good course
The overall course was not to bad. Good tee boxes good fairways. Only real concern with course is bunkers. They were horrible an have been for quite awhile. Have no idea why they can't seem to get them ready.
great course features
Really enjoy the challenges laid out in this course design. Back nine is more difficult then th front.
Played this course numerous times
This course is well maintained but the toilet facilities are deplorable
No marshal
Nice fairways and greens, horrible bunkers. High uncut grass off fairways, very difficult locating your ball, unless you walk directly over it. Hit and miss on slow play, any days or times of the week, never a marshal or starter person. T times are pretty much any times there. Over all nice course, driving range, and practice area, carts with gps. Not worth the $55 weekend rate fee.
Frequent Player at CC
The course was in good shape as always. Best course in town for the money. Usually crowded however, we played at 2:00 on a Friday and therefore didn't experience slow play, probably due to the hot temperature. Only issue would be the quality and different types of sand in some of the bunkers/traps.
