Excellent public course very well maintained would recommend as best course in the area

The train had the fairways in great shape and the greens were fair and fast. Went in the afternoon and it was hot. The only problem i had was the pace of play and no Marshall to speed up the multiple ball hitters in front of us.

It was nice and has a good course condition. Staffs are kind.

Like many TX courses the wind is certainly a factor. What you get when you do finally arrive on the greens is a fair putting speed and greens that hold the ball. Super friendly staff, I lost my "Wimpy" from popeye headcover and they had it at the clubhouse. All around great experience.

The course was really great to play, it was challenging, but not to the point I had a bad experience. The only downfall to the course is all of the thick rough along the holes which if you mishit a shot into it, you will not find your ball and if you do, you won't do much with it. I lost quite a few balls, but still had an enjoyable experience and will likely play the course again.

Gps broke on our cart. We played a relatively slow front 9 then had to leave when we saw we were the fifth group on hole 11.

The course was in really good condition. The greens were deceptively fast but rolled true.

While it appears open, the grass on either side of the fairways is ready to eat the finish off one of your irons if you miss the fairway.

The front nine played faster than average but for some reason when we made the turn we ended up waiting behind two groups to tee off on 10, 11 and 12. After 12 it started to open up again.

Will definitely play it again.

So maybe Im spoiled but the course was pretty busy. Overall it was very nice experience, but I like the idea of golfing to get away and get some peace and quiet.. We were constantly on the heels of the group in front of us and had the group behind us on our heels. Kind of stressful in a game that's supposed to be played stress free..

Recent rains caused cart path only. Front nine greens were pretty lumpy. Back was in better condition. On the plus side; only one mile from Bass Pro Shop.

Course was in good shape. They had sanded the greens recently so putting was a challenge, but most putts rolled pretty true. Got a great deal on golf now so made it even better! Easy to get on in late morning..

Great course for a really good price. The entire course is really well kept, the only slight complaint I have is the pace of play. We teed off 20min late and the first two holes were slow but the pace picked up later on. Will definitely come back to this course.

The course and weather were beautiful. Even though hole play started slow, it quickly spread out and there was little to no waiting. Overall, great experience.

Good place to play if its been raining for several days prior. Usually can find good rates on golfnow.

Weekend prices should be 45 dollars for this course. The pace of play can be frustrating.

Got a last minute tee time for $25 on a Sunday afternoon. Generally, you wouldn't expect much. However, we were pleasantly surprised. For it being February, the course was in good shape. The carts appeared to be new, with GPS. I'm quite sure you won't find a better value anywhere else. Would I pay $60 for this course, probably not. But $25 was a great value.

First time bad didn't enjoy this course the staff was rude I guess they dint like we book at Golfnow.com because prize was too low may be

Pace was sloooooooooow. Waiting at every tee box. Another group cut in front of the group in front of us at 10 and it got even slower. Never saw a Marshall the whole time so it went unchecked. 4.5 hours was way too long for 18 holes. Would not recommend playing on the weekend.
