Recently played and the staff and course were awesome.

The Marshalls and pro staff were very accommodating to our group and I’ll be coming back to play there soon.

I am writing this review about a Marshall that within a period of time from the tee to the green of the #1 hole told my group we had made several infractions about the 90 degree rule the mentioned on the tee and to then stay on the path near the green as well. The guy filled our group from tee to green.

We didn’t do anything wrong at the tee to cause the guy to follow us as we played the #1 hole.

He was rude and he puts his hand on my shoulder and and said sorry I’m being so needy about the course rules but you should come back in 3 months when we are done with construction…

I asked are you kicking us out? He said no I just saying to come back in 3 months and see the place. He mentioned 1 more time to take care of the course by replacing divots and fixing ball marks….

Since I am an avid golfer and I play every place I can play in the city of Houston I can say I have never been treated like that… ever. If I had the guys name I would put it on here however I don’t and I can’t to help the next guys.

But this is unacceptable to constantly stay on our group by not making any interaction to begin with and following us down the fairway to pester 4 grown men and treat us that way.

I’ll never go back as long as that guy is going to be there. I played Saturday Nov 23 2024 mid day in case a manager sees this review.

Overall condition has improved a lot. The pace was slow and they didn’t send in the Marshall to speed it up.

Perfect for beginners through advanced. Staff is very friendly and course is just challenging enough. I love the back 9.

I'm blessed and fortunate to play ALOT of course around Houston and a few states. I was warned about the conditions here and I'm not saying it's bad. I believe the layout, challenges, bunkers and elevations and depths of the course were awesome. Pretty challenging with the wind too, however I feel personally for the price I paid compared to the condition of the course was alittle off. I was warned in early reviews, but wanted to see for myself due to not obviously knowing those whom previously rate and judge rhe courses and what their expectations lie in comparison. I think the price is a bit much but fairways could be better tampered and greens cut shorter to add to the extremity of the slopes and undulating greens. I personally are in favor of flat wide tee boxes if possible and fast greens. Everything about this course is pretty good and cool. That being said for those to see and read this review, the greens are sooo slowwww and there are times where it's difficult to distinguish between the fairway and the rough and I'm leaving it at that.

For the price 29 dollars with a cart was an excellent value. The course is in great shape other than 3 greens which were being oversown. The pace of play was great in the afternoon where 18 holes was played in 3 hours .

The pace of play was great . The staff was very courteous . The fairways were in great condition. A few of the greens had dead areas and were uneven . Other than those 4 holes the course was in great shape

Greens were pretty bad, stickers everywhere and bald spots. They redid the bunkers recently, I was not a fan of the sand, way too fine and loose, impossible to have a normal bunker shot, had to pick it.

On hole 9 and some other fairways, they just placed mounds of sand in the middle of the fairway. I hit a perfect drive on 9 that lost all roll out distance because it landed in a pile of sand.

They let a lot of the shrubs and wild grass grow out around the course which looks nice but they have a long way to go before seriously charging $80+ a round.

All four in my group felt like we had been robbed. I will never pay $72 to play here again and probably won't ever play hear again. Greens were terrible!!!!! Most of the surfaces were dead and they looked like they had re-soded some of them. Most Tee Boxes were like teeing it up in the rough. Goat Ranch conditions!

Played this course a few times. On this day, the fairways were decent, but the greens on some of the holes needed work. Lots of dirt patches and aerification done. 1 hole, a part 4 was even a temporary green in the middle of the fairway. I booked through golf now. I would suggest golfers should be informed ahead of time prior to booking. If I knew this, I wouldn't pay $45 for this condition.
