Irving Golf Club

I've always liked the course in the past. It was in immaculate condition? Have the owners changed? They are not maintains the course. They need to re do the whole course. There were potholes in the middle of the fairway.
The bunkers were deplorable. I don't ever have to play this course again, in this state.

We have played this course in a long time. Very pleasantly surprised at the great condition it was in. Looked like they had laid new sod in most of the fairways on the back 9 (in the past 6 months or so). Greens were in great condition. Only thing not good was the bunkers. Not sure if it was from the rain they had several days ago or what

It was a tee-up at 7:46 a.m., but no one could join with me, so Marshall told me to go out alone, so I started, but since there were four people playing in front of me, I had to wait 10 minutes for each hole, and the rhythm was completely broken, but when Marshall came back, he told me to join with the person who came after me, but I already had three holes left from the people who came from behind, so isn't it wrong to ask them to wait for me to join with them?

Greens are in fantastic condition and pretty quick - overall a great course for the price. Caught a Golf Now special for under $30.

Hard to believe this is a public course is able to maintain pristine greens and fairways in this Texas heat. They even provided a bottle of water and a towel to stay hydrated and dry in the heat. Will definitely be playing here again soon.

Great for a muni if owned by city? Either way worth the hour and half drive thanks to golfnow

Course is in great condition. All greens but 2 were in perfect condition, the other two were an 8 out of 10, but more than acceptable. The layout is nice, but don't walk this course unless you're ready to make long walks from green to tee on many of the holes.

This course is in great shape for middle of July! Greens were fast but rolled great!

I love Irving Golf Club. It’s just a fun layout, in excellent shape, with friendly staff, all at the right price. I wish it would go back to being the hidden gem it used to be because tee times are getting tougher to come by, but if you’re lucky enough to snag an early one, you’re in for a treat.

Nice improvements to the cart path. Well done by the good staff at the city of Irving.

But really now, why so expensive for seniors the play during the week? $47.50 is 20% too high for this course. Management has overstepped with the increase.

this is my second time playing it and it’s one of my favorite courses in the area for the price I like the layout, of course in great shape highly recommend

Back nine is in better shape than the front nine. All the greens were punch previously so any putt was just luck if it went in. We had to use gimmies if the putts were inside 4 feet. Nothing was mentioned at the pro shop of the greens.
