About
Located in South County Regional Park, Osprey Point Golf Club offers the first course in Florida to be designated as an Audubon International Classic Signature Golf Course. You would never be able to tell from looking at it now, but the site was farmland before it was used for shellrock mining and then abandoned. The landscape had been overgrown but the Parks and Rec Department of Palm Beach County transformed it into a lush and scenic course. The golf course is a 27-hole layout that can be played in three different 18-hole combinations. All of the tees, greens, and fairways feature environmentally friendly Seashore Paspalum. The Hawk/Falcom combination has a gently rolling landscape enhanced with native vegetation. The elevation changes are subtle but they still provide a few tricky lies.

I play at least once a week on this course. This people are doing an oustanding job
In this golf course. I have a access to a few private golf courses around the city.
And this course is same or better that any other one around including
The breakers or PGA nationa.
More then gtreat value for you $$.
3 9 hole courses
The course as I have come to expect is in great shape for a public course. I enjoy most of the holes and loath the holes I cannot see very well. A few holes require a blind guess as to whether or not you have landed in a playable area. Upon check-in me sure the receipt has checked in your entire group or a return trip to the clubhouse will be required unlike every other course in America. All in all I highly recommend this and other municipal and county courses.

Clubhouse will add integrity
The course is in need of a clubhouse. Two of us teed off after a major rainstorm. The humidity and lack of shade presented oppressive conditions. The greens rolled extremely well, and the fairways were well manicured. We will be back in the winter time when it is cooler. Osprey Point is a great addition to the area. A well developed clubhouse (facing west) to include weddings, banquets, etc.) will complete this excellent layout.

In regards to the clubhouse, we are currently in the planning stage of expanding the current facility and hope to begin construction next summer.

Best condition in south Florida
This course is an absolute gem. There is no public course in the tri-county area in better shape. We as fellow golfers need to remember to repair all ball marks on the green and fill our divots to keep this, and many other courses in great shape.

Nice layout
Really liked the course, but will remember to take insect repellant next time as the course is at the edge of the everglades. Will definitely play here again. The Starter was a little testy, guess it was a little too hot for him or he forgot to take his happy pill !

Great course
Course in top shape. Even with the lack of rain recently, the course had plush fairways and fast greens.

Typical area layout with lots of high grass to make it difficult
This was a pretty typical Florida-style course that I found extremely challenging. The fairways were wide on some, very narrow on others. The routing was designed using high grasses to separate holes so you lose a lot of balls if you don't keep it in the fairway or first cut of rough.
The greens were decent though a tiny bit bumpy. The twosome we were paired with said that was pretty surprising as they play there often and said the greens are generally in better condition.
Fun little track, just bring extra golf balls.

course in great condition, must play
i have played this course a few times and it is always in good condition. the fairways are superb, greens are running nicely. The challenge is to keep the ball in the fairway or in the rough, if you don't it's lost. Remember, there are red stakes so you don't have to re-hit from the tee.

Great course
Great course well-maintained well run would definitely play it again
Best public course ever
I was blown away about how nice this course was. The condition of the course was impeccable. I highly reccomend playing this course
great, challenging course in the best shape
first time playing here. figured it would be hard to live up to all the hype, but in fact it even exceeded it.
rates were very reasonable $37 for me and about half for my 11 year old son. played two of the three nines and the course was in outstanding condition. hard to believe considering all the play it gets. felt like we were the first ever on the course. tee boxes and fairways perfect, sand traps excellent and greens hard and true.
staff was very friendly and seemed to be proud of their gem of a course. they stacked it up to any club course in the area. we play often at Boca Country Club and I can tell you that not only is it much nicer but one quarter of the price. several tee boxes to choose from so my son found it challenging but not too long.
only issue was a par five on one of the #5 holes. way too narrow of fairways, almost to the point of being unplayable. i hit the ball fairly straight and still lost two balls on the hole.
other than that, must play if you are in the area!

Excellent Conditions, interesting layout
First time playing this course, and I had heard good things about the course conditions. I was very surprised at how well the course was kept, as well as the practice areas. Much better conditions than the other county courses, the fairways were plush and pure, and the rough was not bermuda I believe, and it was green everywhere. The greens were still healing after being punched, but where rolling pretty decently for still not being completely healed, and where a challenge as well. The course had some elevated tees and greens, also giving the course some interesting features. Overall, I would recommend this course as it is in great shape, and has a interesting layout.

Greens are in good shape as they underwent aerification a month ago.
Not bad
The greens need work but the rest of the course was fine. Unfortunately the greens are most important. I'd still play here again.
