About
Located in South County Regional Park, Osprey Point Golf Club offers the first course in Florida to be designated as an Audubon International Classic Signature Golf Course. You would never be able to tell from looking at it now, but the site was farmland before it was used for shellrock mining and then abandoned. The landscape had been overgrown but the Parks and Rec Department of Palm Beach County transformed it into a lush and scenic course. The golf course is a 27-hole layout that can be played in three different 18-hole combinations. All of the tees, greens, and fairways feature environmentally friendly Seashore Paspalum. The Hawk/Falcom combination has a gently rolling landscape enhanced with native vegetation. The elevation changes are subtle but they still provide a few tricky lies.

Great Course
Perhaps my favorite south Florida Course. Got a steal on golfnow and had a blast. Course is in great shape and love the paspalum. Will be going back again!
On time
Great course great condition, And I play here at least twice a month but the last 2 times we've been out we haven't started at our booked time, resulting in finishing the 18th in the dark. So I figured that maybe because of our previous tee time, we would book this one an hour earlier & it was the same result! Starters need to step up they're game.

We have been studying our pace of play and have found that the afternoon does tend to play a little slower, a problem we are trying to fix by going from 8 minute to 9 minute tee times. We hope to see you again soon and we will continue to work with the marshals to ensure pace of play is monitored so everyone can finish their rounds.
Excellent course!
Both of the fairway and greens are in great shape. Green speed is fairly fast and rolling is so smooth. My only complaint is that many holes at Raven course are so close each other. It may cause any accident by the shot from other hole. But, I didn't have the same feeling at Hawk course. I have played golf at over 50 different courses in FL and now I put this course in my top 5 courses including TPC Sawgrass, LPGA International, Hammock Beach, Southern Dunes.

Beautiful golf course.
Can't believe this place is a muni. Gorgeous course and in very good condition. Layout of course is challenging. We played the hawk and the falcon nines. Playing the back tees, many of the tee shots were blind, at least partially. Yardage book definitely helped. And couple funky holes that you can't really tell where you're going very well. Would be easier I'm sure now when I go back to play again. First time playing can be a little confusing though. Great course, and the practice facilities are awesome!!

Refused issuing a rain check
It rained at 3:06 our t time. We didn't t off until 4. We played 6 holes when we stopped because of darkness. They refused to give us a rain check. Very disappointed.

Wonderful Golf Course
The fairways were in beautiful shape and the greens were well maintained and quick. The driving range is nice and hitting off grass. A must play course.

Bad start good day overall
Course was great starter was having a bad day. As a first time player there I had to pull information out of him. Started the round on a bad note. Once on the course a very enjoyable round.

Nice course, grumpy staff
I must have gone on a bad day, but every person I spoke to; bag check, pro shop, starter where all very grumpy, not friendly at all. The course is wonderful.

This is my 4th time playing this course in 2 months, absolutely amazing for the price! beautiful greens fairways, very well kept, great pace. The toughest of all three courses would be hands down,is the Hawk
especially if wind is outta the east. Beautiful Facility. I will definitely play at least once a month, even though I live half an hour away.

I moved to Palm Beach County about a year ago and have been looking for a "public" course in the area worth going back to. Finally I found one!
This course is nicely laid out, has a "links" feel to it and is very close to perfectly maintained. Trust me, it is well worth playing and a great value.

VERY SLOW PLAY
Great course for the money, but "Extremely" Slow Play!!!
Rangers don't attend, to many so called player's in the bushes looking for golf balls!!!

One feature that we are implementing to aid in the pace of play is to change from tee times every eight minutes to every nine minutes. This will reduce the number of people on the golf course during peak times and promote a faster pace of play.

Considering all the rain, the course was in very good shape. Only a few areas where the cart was squirrelly.

In regards to the carts, we received shipment on a new fleet last Tuesday, which should increase player comfort and performance of the cart, no matter the conditions, in the future.

best public course in florida
I don't know what it is about that seashore paspalum, but it's just so good, so green, so smooth. this course should be the number 1 course in the southeast. This is the course I hold every other course to. it's a little tight and easy to lose your ball in the brush, but they have done a good job mashing 3 nines in a small area. I snuck 18 holes in today during the 1pm football openers so the course was pretty empty, so played 18 holes in 3 hours which was refreshing, and finished maybe 5 minutes before a good sized storm that threatened the whole back nine. my one gripe with this place is the older guys in the pro shop are often not very customer oriented, aka lacking customer service skills. everyone else i've ever interacted with is friendly. course was aerated 4 weeks ago and they are already rolling very nicely, probably close to 10.

Great course, slow play
Course is in excellent conditions. Tight fairways, large greens in great shape. Pace of play was poor, 2 groups on some tee boxes when we pulled up after finishing a hole. No rangers to be found.
