Osprey Point Golf Club - Hawk/Falcon Course
About
Located in South County Regional Park, Osprey Point Golf Club offers the first course in Florida to be designated as an Audubon International Classic Signature Golf Course. You would never be able to tell from looking at it now, but the site was farmland before it was used for shellrock mining and then abandoned. The landscape had been overgrown but the Parks and Rec Department of Palm Beach County transformed it into a lush and scenic course. The golf course is a 27-hole layout that can be played in three different 18-hole combinations. All of the tees, greens, and fairways feature environmentally friendly Seashore Paspalum. The Hawk/Falcom combination has a gently rolling landscape enhanced with native vegetation. The elevation changes are subtle but they still provide a few tricky lies.

excellent course
excellent course in very good shape
quite challenging
Great Experience
First time to play here and was very satisfied with everything. Course was great and playing as a single they paired me with someone I enjoyed playing the round with. Will play there again soon.
How Fun Was That!
What a delightful golf outing! It was our first time playing Osprey Point but it certainly won't be our last. Even though the course is about a 45 minute drive, it's definitely worth the time and fuel to justify the drive. We actually played all three nine hole courses (27 total holes) and enjoyed each the unique characteristic of each course. Even though the greens had be recently punched, the rolled smoothly and were fairly fast. Can't wait to golf Osprey again!
Best public course in South Florida!
I've played this course numerous times and the conditions just seem to get better each time. An absolute must play!
Great golf day
Course was in very good condition although the greens had been aerated. Pace of play was great and the weather was good. Can't ask for much more.
beautiful course
great scenery course in good condition a good golf experience
Wrong time to play
The course was very nice and playable but it had just been airated which was a little disappointing. Even so the condition was good enough to go back 2 days later and play again
Ranger nightmare
Having played this course before and having the pace of play be an issue, I had hoped that the course would have taken steps to remedy it. Unfortunately, their solution was to acquire a bunch of ignorant rangers to annoy paying customers. We were basically abused by rangers all day for no reason. I am sure that many of you have had rangers drive up and ask you to keep up with the group ahead of you instead of stay ahead of the group behind. These rangers fall into that category but have no idea why or when to do it. These rangers see a gap in play and assume that there is a slow play problem that must be addressed. They don't see the overall picture of why there is a gap or take into account the number of players in each group. We were playing in a foursome on a windy day on a course with hazards everywhere. We were playing at a decent clip but there was always a gap between us and the group ahead because THEY WERE A TWOSOME. We caught them on nearly every tee and waited for them to clear the fairway or green on most shots. There was a threesome behind us who must have complained because all they saw was us in front of them all day. If Osprey Point is going to put groups of different numbers out on the course then they should train their rangers so that they know what to expect. The rangers drove up on us numerous times while we were hitting making us back off shots and twice in the first 4 holes they told us to speed up. Their ignorance ruined our round of golf. Osprey Point needs to train these morons or they will start losing paying customers, like they have lost me.
Great Course
Awesome course to play! All around great course with friendly staff and great location
Nice lay-out !
I really enjoy playing at that course. Every time that I am going to my Condo in Florida, I booked a fews games at that course for sure !
good day
This is one of the best courses in the county. Well maintained from tee to greens. This is a must play for all golfers.
starter & greens
Starter did not honor my tee time & put me behind
a 4 some he knew. we waited on every shot &
took over 5 hours to play.
Greens were terrible, no one has fixed a ball mark
since they opened apparently.
A hot day in April
I have played this course for the past three years and find it gets better every year. The tee boxes are in great shape and the fairways have no bad spots. I don't like to play from tight lies and there were none.
The greens were in perfect condition and ran at about a 10 according to the starter which is a great speed for a twice a week golfer. I don't know how they do it, but for a public muni course it is the best in south Palm Beach, or north Broward it is the best.
Great golf
Great golf course. Perfect conditions. Quality \price. Excellent deal!

beautiful course, friendly starters, good greens, great views and will definitely go back. will try to get golfnow price next time.

I recommend Osprey point golf course very highly
Well manicured greens are fast and true just Bring an extra sleeve or two if you're not putting in play Will find more often than not it's lost Besides lost golf balls a truly great value for the money
Osprey in good shape
greens are better than ever
stay out of the brush there are snakes
Superb public course!
I've played here about six times this year and it's a wonderful course. It's somewhat challenging, the courses (3-9 holes# are in fantastic condition, you get a lot of roll #if you stay in the fairway), and the price is right. The guys in the pro shop are fun and friendly as are the starters.
