Osprey Point Golf Club - Hawk/Falcon Course
About
Located in South County Regional Park, Osprey Point Golf Club offers the first course in Florida to be designated as an Audubon International Classic Signature Golf Course. You would never be able to tell from looking at it now, but the site was farmland before it was used for shellrock mining and then abandoned. The landscape had been overgrown but the Parks and Rec Department of Palm Beach County transformed it into a lush and scenic course. The golf course is a 27-hole layout that can be played in three different 18-hole combinations. All of the tees, greens, and fairways feature environmentally friendly Seashore Paspalum. The Hawk/Falcom combination has a gently rolling landscape enhanced with native vegetation. The elevation changes are subtle but they still provide a few tricky lies.

Florida links style course
27 holes in outstanding shape. I consider this to be my home course so I may be a little biased..but this courses conditions never go blow top-notch. With the course being new and using paspalum the ball rolls for miles, wouldn't mind if they let the rough grow a little to catch miss hits. Not much water to contend with but hazards line every hole on the course..and believe me..if they go in they don't come out. Another over looked aspect of osprey point is there amazing practice area's and range. Palm beach county actually did something right with this track. Like many others have stated..beer cart girls are straight up jail bait..lol very friendly and all I've encountered have kniwledge of the game and stop for drives and putts. I will continue to come here and if your on vacation its a must play.
Excellent Course!!!!!!
I am amazed by the way this course played, the fairway's were perfectly cut to the right height and the greens really rolled very true. The only thing that is disappointing is there really is no 19 hole to relax in after play. We are hoping this changes in the near future, overall we had a great time here and will be back many times, also the staff is very friendly and helpful.
Nice layout
I played this course a couple years ago the greens were very hard and your ball would run a mile. Very different now and will be back.
Best greens you will play on in the area !!!
This course is a little secret, off the beaten path, but if you dont know about it, go play it. You will lose a ball or two, its inevitable.
Great shape
Could not believe what great shape the course was in after recent rains. Greens were perfect and fairways too.
Great course and great layout in excellent condition.
Course layout is very interesting with many forced carrys from many tees over swamp grass to fairways that weave around and require thoughtful tee shots. Visually it is very appealing and more daunting the first time around than it is after you have played it a few times. Despite a lot of recent rains, the course (Raven-Falcon) was in superb condition with only a few soggy areas on the fairways. Greens were fast and true. Bunkers were all raked and dry. Fairways are almost universally plush and firm. You'll love this course and want to play it again.
Great course. Great value for the Golf Now rate!!!
Have played here several times since the snowbirds have left. Without a doubt the best course in the area for the money. Heck, this course is as good as some of the high priced so called pro venues!!The entire staff is super friendly and the cart girls can't help but put a smile on your face. Better hit it pretty straight since there is all kinds of brush everywhere. Can't wait to play here again and again!!!
Really fun with lots of variety
Excellent setting! Countryside links feel. Variety of tees makes it challengingly fair for all levels of player. Highest recommendation!
well maintained course
great golf experience at osprey. super friendly staff, great fairways and excellent greens. this course and facility can compete with some of the top end golf facilities.
Well maintained course
If you get a chance to play here at a discount, go for it. It can be expensive at times. As for the course, its fair test without a lot of water.
the course is nice......
and challenging (hit em straight). kinda tough for a 'short' course. but I did like it and I will be back! The cart girl was my only complaint, she drove up on us twice while in the middle of a tee shot. I don't think she spoke English or understood the whole realm of golf etiquette.. my only complaint thought. again...I will be back!!
Very nice place
The green were perfect, Good layout and moneyworth with golfnow
Very Well Maintained Course with Excellent Greens
Haven't played here all winter because of the high prices, but it's summer in South Florida and reasonable rates are abundant. Fairways are no longer rock hard as they were a couple of years ago when the course was new. They are still very firm, so you do get considerable roll. If you can stay either on the fairway or just off it (first cut of rough is not a problem) it is possible to put up a pretty decent score. Severe pulls or pushes result in big penalties as you wind up in impossible to find the ball or hit out of brush. Greens are very large, so good lag putting is also at a premium. Some really wonderful views overlooking water and a warm but cooling breeze in the late afternoon. Nice practice facility to warm up before the round. I will definitely be back soon.
lots of roll on the fairways.Course is in great shape.
The price was right and the course is newer and in great shape. Will play it again and again for that price. I enjoyed it alot.
This is the course to play in palm beach county
Pleasing to the eye not a lot of sand or water just hit it straight and ok
nice course
I played some years ago and are surprised, the course is now better, fairways are excellent and well maintained.
Nice place for nature and golf
This course is way over priced, they are still trying to get 55$ a round. Need to use golf now to get a deal. Not very accommodating, my friend booked for 2 players at 1-30pm For 22$ each. I phoned them up to see if I could get in with my buddies as a third but they wanted 55& from me. I was unable to play "thanks Ospry point for trying to gouge a palm beach resident". Like I said if you can get a deal it's well worth it. PS bring lots of balls
One of Boca's best
There are three 9 hole courses in phenomenal shape. The greens are fast and very challenging. Great layout and NOT surrounded by houses.
Interesting layout with good greens.
Nice little track. The paspallum greens are great. If they could only teach the canadians how to play ready-golf.
