Osprey Point Golf Club - Hawk/Falcon Course
About
Located in South County Regional Park, Osprey Point Golf Club offers the first course in Florida to be designated as an Audubon International Classic Signature Golf Course. You would never be able to tell from looking at it now, but the site was farmland before it was used for shellrock mining and then abandoned. The landscape had been overgrown but the Parks and Rec Department of Palm Beach County transformed it into a lush and scenic course. The golf course is a 27-hole layout that can be played in three different 18-hole combinations. All of the tees, greens, and fairways feature environmentally friendly Seashore Paspalum. The Hawk/Falcom combination has a gently rolling landscape enhanced with native vegetation. The elevation changes are subtle but they still provide a few tricky lies.

Much Needed!!
Left the Jersey weather for a few days and The Osprey Pointe
Golf Course is what the Doctor ordered ....... played 27 holes on a Monday, a guy in our group hit a hole in one from 182 out. This course is the real deal !!!
good shape for the price, nice green
Arrive on time, mixe me with nice people but the pace of play was very slow more than 4h50.
I was amazed how nice the grass was even on the tee
Can't wait to go back
Pristine conditions is accurate
Great Course Excellent Value
This course is in excellent condition! Very lush fairways and the greens were fast and rolled true. The look from the tee boxes was majestic and it made me feel like I was playing on a desert course. One of the most beautiful tracks I have ever played. I can't wait to go back!! The only draw back was the slow play.....we had to wait between shots quite a bit...still in all...a great value for the money!!!!
beautiful course
this course is beautifully maintained and the fairways are just magnificients. The greens are fairly fast and nicely ondulated,Overall great, great course
Great course
Course was in excellent condition. Enjoyed playing. They allow walkers so it was a little slow, but not too bad. Would recommend this course and will play there again.
It was a very enjoyable course to play!
There was one very unpleasant experience, when we arrived, we had to wait at least 15 minutes at the cashier, to pay for our game. I am not used to that, since I always pay in advance to Golfnow..
Best kept secret in south Florida
I've played three rounds at Osprey Point in the past two weeks, which includes play on all three nines. What a wonderful experience each has been. If I may offer one little bit of constructive advice it would be directed at the bag guys at the end of the round who tend to pocket the tip money after wiping the clubs but then at times forget the job is not over until the bag is in the truck of my car........ Unfortunately, I've learned it is best to withhold my gratuity until the end of job.
Great course
I was truly impressed with the practice facility. The course is in excellent condition
Beautiful and challenging
Stunning adaptation of the Everglades environment with 27 unique and beautifully maintained holes. Fairways are lush, greens fast and true, with inviting tee boxes holding a view of the next challenge. Cannot wait to go back.
Best condition in years
The course was Immaculate. Greens are perfect and better than I have ever seen them.
The course is always crowded but we still got 18 in about 4 hours.
tough but fun
nice playing in the everglades on the east coast. no homes is very nice. course is very tight though....
A very nice course in great condition.
Pro's. A gr8 track with nice fairways & beautiful greens,
Con's. was annoyed that the starter told us to wait at the turn to let two groups of four go thru our 3 sum, and to top it off, they were absolutely hopeless, thus made the back nine a complete drag. Advice- If your going to have such a strict starter, get someone who can concentrate rather than talk rubbish to his female assistant & waste our time.
Love this course!
Great looking cart-girls, prestine course, nice big greens, rolled smooth. Is a nice gem in Boca..no condos, just wildlife.
Expect to fight the maintenance crew if you tee off early
had the first tee time so the pace of play was good but we had to the maintenance crew follow us for the entire front nine. Also, althought the aeration warning was not indicated at the time of booking, the greens were aerated and sand filled. See pictures attached.
Excellent condition and challenging course
We played the Hawk & Raven. This courses are so beautiful with great views, which are different from the traditional FL courses. The courses require you to hit straight; once the ball deviates from the fairway, most likely you are unable to find your ball in the bushes. The only complaint that I have is that at the time we played, every single hole is on aerification and there is no indications to us at the time of making reservation. I would say wait awhile until the green is good.
This course is a thinking mans golf course. You really need to plan your strategy
It was great to play a course in S. Florida that was in its natural habitat and not surrounded by homes and condos. The course truly brought out the thinking mans game. This course only being opened since 2010 was in fantastic condition and well maintained.
Beautiful Setting
Osprey Point is situated within a large public park complex. Three nine hole courses. The starters try to steer you to the least crowded one after nine. The Sawgrass setting is outstanding. You can loose balls rather quickly but the course plays well. The greens at the Falcon and Raven were in very good conditions. Highly recommended.
Top Notch
One of my favorite local courses, always in great shape year round which is rare for Florida. Challenging from the tips and extremely playable from the white tees. Spacious fairways but little to no rough still requires accuracy off tee to keep your ball from rolling into coquina. Greens were perfect and rolled true. Driving range is fantastic and staff is great. Highly recommended!
Best value in town for a course of this quality
Very nice fairways. Probably the greatest feature of this outstanding course is the location. This beautiful course is located on the edge of the Everglades. The wild life found consistently on the course is magnificent. I have seen bobcats, huge turtles, hawks, rabbits, all types of waterfowl, and gators walking down the fairways.
