About
Pearland Golf Club opened in 1982 after Jay Riviere was brought in to build the course as the centerpiece of a residential development for senior citizens. Mike Hoelzer rolled through in the late 1990s for a redesign on this fairly basic 18-hole golf course. The short design features generous fairways and prominent bunkering around the undulating greens. Lakes and ponds have been added over the years and impact play on most holes. Trees have also been added over the years to spice up the flat, prairie-like course.
No. 9 is one of the toughest holes, a 440-yard par 4 that doglegs and has water. No. 16 is considered Pearland's signature -- a 554-yard par 5 that also doglegs and has water in play.

Had two players cancel last minute due to poor weather should have been refunded but wasn’t. Hesitant about using app in the future.

Very good layout and excellent conditions for February in Texas.
Would recommend this course to low to mid handicap golfers as well as being playable from forward tees go higher handicape golfers.

Bad golf
We didn’t hit the ball well, not the courses fault. I would say the restroom locations were scarce, but good course overall.happy to be alive

Poor Conditions
Cart paths are in shambles. Tons of areas of no grass. Many bunkers looked like they hadn’t been touched in years. Greens were okay.
Hello GA: Sorry you did not enjoy your experience. It is hard to understand your comments however. We have been receiving great reviews for the condition of the course. Grass in our market area is dormant but our fairways and intermediate rough are in great winter shape affording a nice lie in 98% of circumstances. We are in the process of renovating our cart paths and are 2/3rds of the way done. We have added several tons of sand to our bunkers in the last couple of weeks and had the crews working on them for playability which was complete last week. You had to have noticed all of the new areas of cart path on the front nine and hole 10 and 11. Tons of areas of no grass is not accurate, and our greens are consistently rated as the best on our area. Thank you for coming out, but I do not think your review is accurate or fair.
