About
Pearland Golf Club opened in 1982 after Jay Riviere was brought in to build the course as the centerpiece of a residential development for senior citizens. Mike Hoelzer rolled through in the late 1990s for a redesign on this fairly basic 18-hole golf course. The short design features generous fairways and prominent bunkering around the undulating greens. Lakes and ponds have been added over the years and impact play on most holes. Trees have also been added over the years to spice up the flat, prairie-like course.
No. 9 is one of the toughest holes, a 440-yard par 4 that doglegs and has water. No. 16 is considered Pearland's signature -- a 554-yard par 5 that also doglegs and has water in play.

Good day at Pearland
Pearland is a good course for the money, with a challenging layout and was in good winter shape. The staff was attentive and friendly. They need to start smoothing out some of the cart paths. Overall, good day there!

First time playing the course after a long lay-off só found the experience a very good one. No disappointment on any front. Greens were excellent fast and Top condition which is rare to find in many courses

Golf on Saturday
Best greens condition I have seen in years. The course was rather soaked and does not drain well. Pace of play was OK for a weekend. Driving range was closed and that was dissappointing.

Ok course, terrible pace of play
I signed up for the "bargain" 3-year pre-paid deal for cart fee only during the week and after 11 on weekends. (Guessing at the last date we played)
The course is very well kept up, and well designed.
The 3-year deal was oversold and its very hard to get a weekend tee-time. It's a nice course and I would keep trying to play except the pace of play is HORRIBLE! They allow SLOW 5-somes. Its easily a 5 hour round. One time it took 2:45 to play the front nine and then another 45 minutes for #10-11 and then we gave up. I haven't been back since and most likely won't.
The driving range is very small and there is no short game / chipping practice area.
Christmas Round
This course is a great value and is in great condition. Greens are fast.

Challenging layout, good greens
Placement of pins were horrible. Majority of pins are on the ledge.

A fun challenging course. The greens were in excellent shape. The golf carts have an accurate gps system . I will be back.

Great spot
Fairways and greens were excellent, and the carts had the best GPS system I’ve ever seen. Course is very narrow, but it is nice.

EXTRA CART
They charge $18 for an extra cart, if you don't want to share a cart with another person. Bring your own push cart, if you prefer to walk.
The greens are in great shape, better than most other courses in the area!
A couple things I noticed were most of the trash cans on the course were full of trash on Sunday morning when we started at 10:30am, so you couldn't put anything in them. Also- we noticed that the cart attendant was not wiping down the carts after other people had driven the carts before he put them back in service. I would hate to have someone get sick dur to lack of safety for others by your staff. Other than that, the course and the day were great!

Perfect Golf Course
This course is the best I've played in the south, southwest ,southeast Houston area. Greens are in greeeeat shape..Fairways are awesome.like walking on carpet, perfect for divot shots. I can actually do the dollar length divots.I highly recommend this golf course to any body looking for a great golf course. Worth the money.
