Pearland Golf Club
About
Pearland Golf Club opened in 1982 after Jay Riviere was brought in to build the course as the centerpiece of a residential development for senior citizens. Mike Hoelzer rolled through in the late 1990s for a redesign on this fairly basic 18-hole golf course. The short design features generous fairways and prominent bunkering around the undulating greens. Lakes and ponds have been added over the years and impact play on most holes. Trees have also been added over the years to spice up the flat, prairie-like course.
No. 9 is one of the toughest holes, a 440-yard par 4 that doglegs and has water. No. 16 is considered Pearland's signature -- a 554-yard par 5 that also doglegs and has water in play.

Not bad for the money
The pace is great. The greens need some work. Overall great time.
Great value, look forward to the renovations
This is a nice layout. It is the best deal around. The greens need help and the fairways are bumpy. It is definitely a good place to practice and save money.
Good Time
Country Place appears to have lots of play. Overall course in Good Shape. Only one Green that needs some additional TLC. Course is well marked, design is good, flows through the subdivision. Carts were clean and charged. Proshop staff very friendly and helpful.
Improving
New management is making investment into course. Big changes coming I hear. Great value and great people. Course will get better, a few bad spots but not horrible
Some nice water features on course and concrete paths
Greens need work but course fun to play in General .great value using golf now site.played here cheaper than the price of just a cart rental at home.
First visit...no more visits.
Extremely poor greens. Cart paths are an issue for players back. Bunkers are well kept.
good gc
Overall a good course for the money
Overall a good course for the money
low dollar course
This is a course I play when all my non golfing friends want to play. The course is the bumpiest course, from ant hills, I've every played. We paid $12.00 so I'm not complaining. The layout is ok but the conditions of the course are very poor.
Maybe in the fall.
About to star a renovation project, maybe after that I will play it again. Nice layout and some fun holes . People are nice and friendly.
C Hobbs
Good, layout second par 5, fifth hole I think needs help, almost no grass.
Not what is used to be
Very rude staff. Cart ran out of juice and had to walk back to the club house because there were no other carts available that were charged.
Not sure about this one
Some of the greens were in bad shape fairways in bad shape. For the money they charge the course should be in better shape.
Fairways need work
Greens need attention,Fairways very uneven. For the price for a Hot Deal from GolfNow only thing I would recommend.
Nice place
Very nice facility ... No pressure ... For a fun day especially new golfers great place
Lots of water
Love the course layout, fair price, greens are fast but need some attetion
Good times, friendly staff
Ive played here several times since I discovered it not too long ago, I had no idea there was a course here! Im glad i found it. I usually find really good deals on Golf Now and will go out and get in a quick round if I have the time. The course is in decent shape tucked in to a neighborhood in the quieter part of Pearland Tx. The staff have always been very nice and professional, they even let my wife, who was 7mo pregnant at the time ride along without charging her a cart fee, and that meant a lot to us. I will be back often, especially when the baby boy gets old enough to swim em!
COUNTRY PLACE '' MUST PLAY'' !
played 12/3/2014 . greens are better than the spring time .
greens are fast !
fairways are fair & running
bunkers need work
great bang for the buck !
This course is a pile driver. LOL
You can not go a full sped with the cart as there are bumps and tree stumps. There is water where you can't see it and it is poorly marked. The greens are concrete and the weeds are plentiful. I tis my guess that Texas courses are more like cow pastures with out the manure.
.
This course is in terrible shape.
Worse shape of any golf course I have ever played in my golf life. They should pay me to play there. I wanted a refund.
A few greens need attention.
Played the course on Sunday (11-24-13). The layout is fairly challenging as it is pretty tight and there are a few hazards that couldn't be seen from the tee box. Must mention however that a few greens are in bad shape and one green is in horrible shape - the greens that were in good shape rolled great and were pretty fast. Got a great price on Golfnow so wasn't too disappointed but would be hard to take if paying top price.
