Great course with a interesting layout however totally let down by the state of the Bunkers. Unfortunately I was able to test most of them, there was only 2/3 mls of sand before an almost concrete like base and full of stones. Only about 2 holes including the 18th had decent quality and quantity sand. Spoilt what potentially is a really good course.

The course was nothing special and a lot of greens were in poor condition

Had a great day here at Abbey, the course was in great condition

Will come back when it's a bit quieter, course is excellent

Pleasant day of golf ,course in great condition fairways good ,greens slowish but true. All round very good

Greens needed water, tee boxes need rotating, lack of bins or signage on tees, more bells required as a lot of blind shots, good layout and with a bit of investment could be a cracker. The worst part was pace of play often encountered 4 groups on one hole. Having said all that enjoyed the round as haven’t played with my son for a couple of years

The course looked great and for a Saturday the pace of play was brilliant..... Unfortunately the greens looked really good but didn't take the ball well and putted slow but still for all that can't wait to go back

When i arrive at the golf course and go up to the bar balcony look down the 18 hole omg what a nice 18 hole you will love it when you see it yourself,and when you played at 18 hole, makes sure you use the right club all golfer at the balcony will look at you play a good shot on the green oh yes I did it two shot ,very enjoyable by myself be back soon.

Heard the greens were not very good but I thought they were descent. Good layout course with some interesting holes. I would like to go back but the pace of play was atrocious. Walked off at 16 after 4 1/2 hours. Shame needs to be managed better. Recommend course though.

Behind a society .Took 4 hours to play 13 holes ..We could have gone in front of them .Will not book through this site again

the greens were awful.full of holes and pitch marks. the greens seemed to be suffering from a disease

Played Abby Park many times, there has been some work done to the course over the winter , new out of bounds and general tidying up have made the course slightly tougher and more picturesque, greens were bobbly but it is still early in the year so it is to be expected, the fairways and bunkers were in good condition

First time I have played here for 20 years and I probably won’t rush back.

Greens we’re in a poor condition with most having grassless patches making them very bobbly.

The biggest problem was the pace of play. Somehow a group of 6 had decided to play together holding everyone up but nothing was done about it.

We actually walked off after 12 holes as we were on track for 4.5 hour round…and we were only a two ball!

Shame about the greens, generally this course offers a good round with enjoyable layout and good mixture of holes with plenty of scoring opportunities. The greens were terrible, they were woolly and had holes and patches of no grass all over them. We played a few months ago and they were really good, I hope they manage to get them back
