The tee area could do with more regular grass cutting. The ball washers are almost always empty. The bunkers are unplayable. Paying attention to these details would justify the cost of playing there. I have played Abbymore for a few years now and it has been better. The cost has gone up and the quality of the course and dropped. Staff are very friendly and helpful

I like the corse but find the staff very rude and they don’t seem to be concerned about customer service, some of the staff members don’t even say good morning or even make eye contact.

Unfortunately it was so noticeable in comparison to the last time I played here, Tees were poor quality, bunkers extremely neglected, greens covered in pitch marks and fluffy. A course of 9 holes that would be suitable for an absolute beginner. I paid £40 in total for a 2 ball feeling this was not value for money.

Well what can I say, this used to be such a lovely friendly place but absolutely disgusted and appalled with the attitude and rudeness of the manager, will definitely not be coming back

Fairways and greens are beautiful all the way round.

Some maintenance going on so hole 7 is currently a lot shorter than it should be, but would imagine they’ll have it opened up again soon.

Surprised at the reviews below. It’s a beginners course, quite short par 4s and one par 5 to finish. Greens were fine, one of the holes 7th? is shortened due to WIP but all the rest were fine. People were friendly and the setting is lovely considering its location. Will be lovely in the summer when the fairways dry out a bit more.

Layout is good for a 9 hole course, the 7th is still undergoing work and remains severally shortened and off a temporary tee. The 6th is a little frustrating with the pylon wires across the fairway so if you hit a driver you run the risk of clipping the wire and diverting your ball. Generally a pleasant course to play and can be completed in 90mins - 2hrs. Will be nice when it has dried out properly and the 7th is finished.
