Waterlogged

Weather was poor could only play 4 holes twice if using trolley, was not informed at time of booking .

Paid £14 on line but could have paid £10 on the day.

No refund offered was given cup of coffee.

So that coffee cost me £4.

Good value 9 holes

Decent course. Very reasonable and fair condition for the time of year. Just a little muddy. No temporary greens or tees and pace of round was excellent.

Decent

Lovely little 9 hole course with the option to play 18, nice lay out of holes, not too tricky which is ideal for me as a beginner.

Abbey Golf on a Saturday

Good 9 hole course. some challenging holes but fairly good for an okay golfer.

Only issue is pace of play and people holding you up and not letting you play through - but as nice day this was passable. Good beer after was welcome

Good test

I’m a member at a very good members club and I love the occasional 9 holes at Abbeymoor. It’s a good test with most holes having well placed hazards. I wood be very surprised if anyone was disappointed playing here apart from the amount of balls they my lose.

Great little 9 holes

The greens impresses me at this place. Good shape to them and makes them interesting with approach play. Will be playing this course again.

Good course. Well looked after

My only issues was the pace of play, was very slow and waiting 10/15 minutes between finishing one hole and starting the next at points. Think the main reason being is that it’s a fairly small course and short distance between holes. It was not long after lockdown either so all tee times were fully booked

More than awite

Good, fun course. Played a round with my brother Connor. Not pretentious like other clubs and courses. Connor was allowed on wearing Diadora tracksuit bottoms!

Round was quite slow but there were quite a few ladies playing so I’m sure it would’ve been faster on another day.

Would recommend Abbey Moor to all golfers - young and old, amateur and pro, male and female, gay or straight, all are welcome at AM.
