Windy!
Ashford is a good test of golf and certainly played that way on Saturday with the strong winds. Unfortunately for us the harder holes had the wind against which made it even tougher. The pace of play was ok although it usually is quicker around midday as most of the members have teed off by 11. Very tree lined course with some tough holes, noticeably holes 7, 10, 12, 17 and 18 with 12 being a par 3 over 220 yards with a stroke index of 12 which seems a bit harsh. The course was in average condition considering the weather we have had recently and the greens were running true

Lovely course and club near Heathrow
A lovely, quiet little golf course in a very busy area. Our group was made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived, coffee was offered in the spike bar for the 3 earlybirds while waiting for the last member of the group to arrive, with drinks and lunch available after our game. The staff and members were extremely friendly and helpful, ensuring we had an enjoyable day. The course was in good condition, especially considering the recent hot weather. Although the greens had been lightly sanded they were still quick and true. A good mixture of holes for a course with restricted space. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.
lovely course
fabulous greens, great fairways but the rough is brutal. little hiidden gem in west middx. lovely enclosed by mature trees so no sweeping vistas. good vfm. no reserved tee times in pm. members only in a.m.
Nice Course & well maintained
Staff friendly in club house although told that visitor rules had just changed and tee times no longer available at weekends which is a shame. Course in good condition for year. Some long par 4's so make it hard to reach in 2 when the wind is in your face although a couple of short par 5 holes so evens it up. Greens in good condition and very quick. Wasn't held up and got round in under 4 hours for a 3 ball which made a change weekend. Shame it will not be available again at weekends as wouldn't mind playing again.
