A Norfolk Jewel
Really enjoyed playing this course. Starting with very welcoming staff we teed off exactly at the right time and found the course generally in great condition although the greens were slow which was attributed to the poor weather in recent days. We enjoyed a drunk on the terrace afterwards again served by attentive and friendly staff.
Good first visit to Bawburgh shame we had 3 seasons in 1 afternoon! ( sun, rain and hail stones!)
Good layout, very nice course and club house.
Shame 4 ball in front and behind - very busy but managed to go round at a decent pace.
Will play here again - hope for better luck though with the weather !
Great course
Lovely course was very slow play on the day I played mind. Golf buggy is reasonable price too for hire.
A good mix of long and tricky short holes
Enjoyed the round!
A lovely Sunday
I have played this course on numerous occasions over the years. I think it was in the best condition I have seen in a very long time.
Lovely course
The young man working in pro very helpful
Enjoyable round
Post lockdown
Excellent course for the conditions had this winter. Exciting, challenging, undulating golf course with some nice views. Greens in excellent shape post winter and fast. Only downside, two immature holes on the 12/13th and the 17th which is hard to comprehend. One of the best parkland courses in norfolk.
Golf day out .
Have not played this course for a few years and we were pleasantly surprised how better it has become. The young man in the pro shop sorted out our booking issue straight away and was brilliant.A good day out on a lovely course.
A Fine Course
First time playing here & it won't be my last! what are great golf club & course.
if your in this neck of woods make sure to check it out. ps drove 100 miles to play here.
Great alternative course to play
Really nice to play a course with plenty of grass, it could use more signage around the first five holes, but will play it again and will recommend to other players
Bawburgh golf course
My first time there , really enjoyed
Top class course , very well maintained.
Definitely deserve my membership
Great value for the money
Course in great condition credit to the green staff. Only improvement would be signage to next holes for first time visitors.
Started well, then a group of 4 balls
First 9 holes were excellent as it was quick and manageable. However got caught behind a set of 4 balls who wouldn't let people through and hence it got very very slow. Unfortunately I decided to end the round early
A very enjoyable afternoon's golf on this interesting and varied course. The fairways were for the most part well grassed and the greens were in excellent condition. For a mid-handicap player this is a challenging but rewarding course to play.
Some minor criticisms include the signage to the next t not always being clear, poor 150yd markers and often stones in the bunkers.
I would, however, recommend this course to anyone for a very enjoyable round.
Great course
Thoroughly enjoyable course with lots of doglegs and interesting approaches to greens which made for an intriguing round that needed to be plotted carefully.
Great golf course
we played this course twice and really enjoyed it would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great course and friendly service
