Beautifully kept course

Despite the dry summer the course especially the fairways were in excellent condition. Some of the holes are quite narrow which for a high handicapper like myself can be tricky. Play within yourself and you will be fine

Good parkland course for all golfers

Lovely course, well presented. Greens a little slow but were very presentable and consistent across course!

Fair course, for price

Overall, it’s a fair course good layout good pace of play did enjoy the holes. However, the thing that held it back for me was the conditions of the course. The fair way was very burnt out and any bump or run or flop it would hit the ground and bounce randomly left or right or stop and there was no way to predict this. Some areas had clearly been watered and other none and would make it really hard to putt and chip. But overall for the cost and the hole layout it was good and will go again.

Slow greens

Course layout is abit criss cross, never played there before and found it difficult to know where to go, blind tee shots, tee box had no markers, greens are very slow due to long grass, it’s like putting on a sponge.

In all it’s a challenge, enjoy

Interesting

The greens were slower than we're used to but true. Tees need a little work but a nice course with some interesting tricky holes. Enjoyable

First and Last

Unfortunately did not like the course so much so left after 8 holes. It felt cramped, 8 holes into an area that’s nowhere big enough. Only reason we knew where we were going was the 2 ball in front of us

Signage ok to start but then fizzled out.

Few bunkers no rakes and then another where the rake was just the head no handle.

Not my best round today but its always worth playing here, a proper little gem of a course. Love the par 3's here, you always have a chance of birdie.

Great condition

Every thing was great there was congestion but to be honest the weather had been awful for the past three days. There was also road closures close to the course so like me people were running late . I will definitely be back lovely course and the staff were very friendly.

Not great and overpriced.

Tee boxes were in awful state, pro shop was literally non existing, nothing of quality for sale there. Really average course especially for the price they charge, this quality should be like a £15 muni course.

Drinks were cheap, staff was ok.

Bring your own sand

I’ve played this course a couple of times before and last time out I was critical about the length of grass on the fairways and lack of sand in bunkers. Well this time out the fairways were absolutely excellent and I also thought the greens were fabulous. Some of my other fellow players thought the Green were spongy but I’d personally rather that than rock hard race tracks. Firstly, it was a bit of a palaver for points members from the club to join me for a round. The course itself provides some excellent challenges and it is only let down by the lack of sand in the bunkers. This point has been raised numerous times by other reviewers so I have no idea why the club does not address this.

Pleasant experience

The course is fairly good value for money. Bunkers were like concrete but the course overall was in pretty good condition. Greens were fairly slow but we're still good. Overall I would definitely recommend anyone to give it a try.
