Lovely course
Really nice course the front nice quite easy open fairways lovely scenery but the back nine harder with plenty of water in play and lots of nice holes
Golf with friends
Always good here and the two courses are both well looked after.
Great course despite serious amount of rainfall
Another lovely round at Wensum. Very approachable club shop dissappointing not to have a putt / range was either not open/ under works. Despite all the weather we have had course was in good condition. Look forward to coming back and playing again soon
Good course when play pace is good
Second time playing the river course - I liked the course architecture which flows into a difficult section with lots of water.
The first time I played I was unable to complete 18 holes in 4 hours as play was so slow. I suspect this may be a common issue at times, given the river section of the course can cause a bottleneck.
This time, however, play was smooth and enjoyable. The greens were in good condition considering the winter weather.
Constructive feedback for the club:
Winter tee mats are in need of replacement.
Driving range operation is a mystery to non-members.
Some seating at the front out house would be nice as the post-round drink felt dour and dark.

Course in excellent condition
Had a thoroughly enjoyable round of golf the Wensum course is definitely a course of two halves. First half relatively easy second half much harder with a lot of water coming into play
Pretty course
Great course, well maintained with some tricky holes due to surrounding water. Some beautiful views that come with the course as well as wildlife.
Weekend Golf
A beautiful and enjoyable golf course at Wensum Valley.
However Weekend Golf Backed Up tee times left a really slow pace of play. 3-4 balls with carts taking so long meant a huge back log on back 9. Played 10 holes in 2hr40 so walked in. Really disappointing understand value for money and booking as many tee times yet weekend golf here is too busy and players also finished early due to how slow it was.
During the week, this is not an issue. Hopefully it will be better for next time for us golfers as well as others.

The Wensum Course
Great course, great variety from 1 to 18! Highly recommend!
Nice course
Enjoy this one, particularly all to the water later on. Pace of play can be slow, as it seems to attract large groups.
