Royal Norwich Golf Club - 18-Holes Course

A stiff test but fair to all levels of golfers .

In great condition and with tricky greens which had sufficient grass to be fair . If shaved the greens could be brutal ( or really fun ) we suspect as there are some fierce slopes .

Only downer was that our Garmin watches did not register with the course and there were no distance markers whatsoever on the course - made it interesting !!

The members we met on the course were very friendly and just wanted us to enjoy the experience and were justifiably proud of their course .

Love this course, conditions are incredible all year round. Just be aware of temporary greens in freezing conditions, although that's not special to this course.

great course especially with the weather this time of year. Awesome facilities. Well worth a visit and make sure you turn up early before your tee time to take advantage and soak in all the golf that has to offer.

Pleasantly surprised how good this place is, I booked my tee time the night before on Golf Now for £50 and I got absoulte bang for buck!

Course is a fantastic, challenging little track with good variety of holes. My favourite hole was the 14th Par 4 an inviting driveable green with plenty of bunkers to punish & the 17th Par 3 over water.

The Clubhouse and Stable restaurant is the finest ive seen at any course.

Ive played quite a few of Top100 courses and I cant understand why Royal Norwich is not in there its certainly worthy of being of sitting in that 50-75 ranking.

I will definitely be returning and would quite happily pay alot more to play there too!

Finally got to play this course after waiting ages. It didn’t disappoint. I can’t think of a better course in the whole East of England region.
