Bondhay winter golf
Bondhay golf course is in the transition of winter golf to spring. This means the course is obviously not at its best as grounds men are getting it ready for this up coming season as reflected in the green fees. The course is still good value for money with a good challenging lay out.
Bogged out
Played 3 ball saturday very very dissapointed as this is one of our favourite ciurses.was not informed on booking that tgere was temp tee boxes on some hole temp greens on some and even fairways were bogged out.would have been nice to have known just how bad condition the course was in.And to top it off was still charged £40 prr person 3 very unhappy golfers
Great Course- great value
We played Bondhay a few times this autumn- the course has held up quite well considering the volume of rain all the greens were in play and in good condition - still quite a lot of leaves on the fairways in places but generally very good considering the recent no stop rain
This course was fully open
The course was fully open ,no temp greens, fairways in good condition and so was the the tee box’s.The pace of play was good too.The staff was helpful and accommodating. The only fault l could find and it was a minor fault was leaves on fairway which meant a lot of free drops on fairway as could not find ball.
Great condition
Played the course just after all the rain from the storm and the course was in great condition greens were rolling great even after all the bad weather. I’ll definitely be back again very soon
Leave's leave's , leave.s
Greens good, bunkers good, fairways long, it was a challenge finding the ball with all the leaves on the course worst I've seen it up there, lost quite a few balls in the leaves, to many trees 🍁🌲🍁🌲🍁🌲🍁🌲🍁🌲🍁🌲🍁🌲🍁🌲🍁🌲🍁🌲🍁🌲🍁🌲
Very difficult course.
Course in lovely condition but is very difficult for the average golfer. But for £18 can't grumble and the setting is gorgeous.
Bondhay 18 holes
Beautiful course well maintained and fast green, narrow and long fairways not for the faint hearted and plenty of bunkers. Overall a pleasant round with beautiful views and some challenging golf. 8/10
Challenging course
I play here whenever I get the chance and it is probably in my top 5 courses ever played. If you like a challenge and not looking to hit your lowest round this is the place for you! We always make time for breakfast when playing here as it’s brilliant, although recently changed sausages and not as nice as the old ones.
Lovely championship course
Tough championship course, plays well and enjoyed my first time experience.
Absolute stunning course
The course was in great condition and was playing great. The course is abit tricky tight tee shots and very tricky approach shots but that only makes it better, the practice facilities arnt the best practice green only has 3 holes on it and is quite small and no range but that doesn’t take anything away from the course, I will definitely be back very soon hopefully the weather holds off abit longer
