Bulbury Woods Golf Club

Enjoyed my first round here. Very friendly welcome on arrival that made me feel they were pleased about my visit. The first couple of holes felt very tight. After that though the course opened up a bit to enable some decent driving opportunities. The greens were very slick and I was caught out a bit by one or two downhill putts that hadn't looked too obvious. Overall, a fun round and somewhere to look forward to going back to

As a higher handicap (34) player this was a good challenge. Some tight fairways really made me have to think about my course management. The course was in a lovely condition and the greens rolled lovely. First time playing Bulbury Woods and won’t be the last. The lady on reception was very helpful and nice. Overall a enjoyable experience.

Had a rely enjoyable game the course was in great condition, especially considering how much rain we have had. The staff made us very welcome and will definitely be back.

Lovely sunny afternoon, course still wet in places from all of the rain. Some greens fairly soft but overall condition was good considering the weather we have had. Let’s put it this way all things considered the course was better than my golf !

Didnt have high hopes when I saw people walking in after 6 holes, but the club pro said we were welcome to go out and try for a few holes and he would refund us if we came back, very generous!

We teed off and were lucky with the weather. We managed all 18 just in time and had the course to ourselves. Lots of short par 4s, and a couple of cracking par 5s make this a fair test for a mid handicapper like myself. Great value at £27 per round, will definitely go back.

On arrival, had a great welcome gentleman in shop showed us around and explained everything. Even got an earlier tee time as course quiet. Considering time of year, course played really well. No winter tees, and greens were very consistent. Not a long course but the doglegs andset up made you think about your shots. Will be heading back soon.

I have played this course many times before and it's going downhill more and more, the course was not in good conditions, look like they have done no work on the greens as they were so soft and spongey, the Tee boxes were awful and the fact it was free relief out the bunkers as well shows what little work they do on that course.

The pro had no customer service attributes what so ever so not sure what he's actually there for, and when we had a complaint to make about a group that almost hit my dad with a ball teeing off on the same hole when it wasn't cleared was disgusting for a sport that is meant to be played with respect and etticate!

This course will not be played by us for the foreseeable future and they need a wake up call and put some love and care into it otherwise it will be another course soon that won't exists, Terrible experience!!!

As always a tight course that is enjoyable, obviously weathers not the best at this time, but it’s winter, always nice here , never easy

Good condition even though we had had a lot of rain.

Had a great round of golf in the middle of the week on a gem of course! Both Greens and fairways were in good condition. The tees looked like they’ve been well used. There was a bit of work being done in front of the greens. This was probably the only disappointment.
