Bulbury Woods Golf Club

I booked this course the day before for an early t-time, yet when i got to the course, the receptionist said they had been shut all weekend, yet they still had t-times available for that day.

Lovely course well looked after lovely and quite very friendly people and staff great course

Another tough but enjoyable round negotiating the trees and ditches with the usual mixed results

The course was a bit tired probably due the large number of people playing since Covid with some greens fairways and tee boxes not in the greatest condition

It was also wetter and muddier than I was expecting considering we hadn’t had that much rain recently

The restaurant and pro shop staff were as friendly and helpful as ever

Lovely course but important to hit the ball straight. Its not a " driver blast" course. For me there is too many ditches and the bushes require a massive pruning exercise.

Lovely club house and food and great view to watch players coming up the 18th. Some lovely picturesque green positions.

Was like playing golf on some converted farmers fields Tees - Fairways and greens not in great conditions lots of areas should be ground under repair and no policing of speed of play or golf etiquette very disappointing

Very friendly staff in the pro shop with helpful information, the tees were are bit patchy but that could be down to Covid, greens in good condition, enjoyed the challenge of all doglegs, overall a very enjoyable experience.

Bulbury Woods is always a nice course to play, greens are in great condition but the Tees are somewhat different which is a shame. A few are fine but most are like playing off farmland which makes the round of golf a little disappointing, but this will not keep us way from playing the course again as i am sure it is a short term issue.
