Treated my work colleague to a visit .Like myself he loved the course .Two happy golfers that will definitely call again
Good layout
An enjoyable day on a perfect course, the greens were well manicured and fast, caught me out a few times, some slow play from a foursome in front, could do with a course official when busy
Poorly Maintained
No sand in bunkers which were all GUR
Course layout badly designed
The Pro in the Pro Shop unfriendly and ignorant
Will not be returning which is disappointing as I have recently moved into the Village
Slow and a bit dull
Pros:
Greens good pace and condition
Pro very friendly
Pretty cheap round
Cons:
Bunkers mostly without sand
Very busy when I played and took well over 4 hours
Not very interesting layout, just up and down and straight for the most part
Far better courses locally and I should have gone with them
Our golf day
Course is awesome as usual every part is in pristine condition looking forward to playing here again
Good not great
Had a very enjoyable day, played like a clown which always influences how you feel about a first time at a new course. Very good greens despite being recently fed. Played with 3 green keepers who were impressed.
Few bunkers which had no sand or markings for being under repair, which was a bit strange.
Course rewards accuracy from the Tee but the balance of the course feels a little off. Would return,
Pro shop very friendly.
Ground staff annoying!
The course is in good condition. The pro shop is looking shabby and not with keeping of its surroundings.
The greens had just been fertilised but still played well.
The one issue was the terrible etiquette of the ground staff. They were very young guys, bombing about on their vehicles, not thinking of their surroundings, strimming whilst stood next to me, trying to hit a shot, grass cutters not stopping or moving whilst hitting tee shots.
This affected every hole I played, and by the 16th I’d had enough.
I’ve never experienced this poor behaviour anywhere else. I can’t imagine that these guys play the sport, or they would understand their responsibilities on the course.
This spoiled our day.
This is my first review ever written, on this app after many years use on a weekly basis. This really spoiled our day!!
