Buffalo Creek Golf Club

Buffalo Creek is a great golf course. It is always in excellent condition, and very fun to play. However... Saturday was the third time I've been out there, and the released a scramble on me. It took 5hrs and 6 min to play 14 holes before I finally gave up as it was getting slower and slower. I have never seen a marshal on the course and every time I play there, it is always very slow. Higher handicap golfers need to learn to evaluate their game much better and play from the correct tees. People are overly concerned with yardage, they need to check the rating and slope to find the correct tees. IF YOU ARE HITTING DRIVER INTO A PAR 3, YOU'RE ON THE WRONG TEE BOX!

Deceivingly short and forgiving course, on most holes. Will be playing again here this summer.

Some bunkers were not ideal, but not bad.
Men in the group were disappointed there was no refreshment cart the whole round, didn't bother me. Fresh cold water was available every few holes.

This course offers some very challenging holes and make you really place your shots carefully to make the most out of it. Course is in great shap and greens are excellent to putt on. Many different looks on the different holes and depending on the difference in pin location can add an extra club or two to the approach shot. Great course!

The course was in good shape when I played. The pros are friendly, the course has some challenging holes and the practice facility is good. Overall good bang for your buck.

Tee time was delayed about 20 minutes and pace of play was a bit slow, but did not bring down the experience. Great challenging course in almost perfect condition. Greens roll true and fast. The only drawback is that some of the bunkers need work. I would definitely recommend playing this course.

A great golf course with a lot of interesting holes. The greens are in very good shape and the course in good shape even after an 8 inch rainstorm a week ago. It can be played from many sets of tees and is fairly long compared to other similar courses. My only complaint was a birdie putt that came out after hitting the white cup liner of which I am not a fan. Will definitely play again when I am in the area again.

Played an enjoyable round of golf here. Hadn't played Buffalo in over 5 years, and couldn't remember much about the course. Range was closed and they'd received over 6 inches of rain a few days before. Considering how much water the course rec'd recently, it was in very good condition. It must drain very well. Overall, the course was in good condition, tees, fairways, greens. The course has some challenging holes, and some easy ones, but it's a decent test of golf. Like the layout. I will be adding it to my rotation of courses, and it was well worth the drive from McKinney.

Challenging course. We played from the Blue Tees and it was all we wanted. Greens roll nicely and the fairways were in good condition. Only complaint was pace of play. We were sent out behind a seniors group.

First time playing this course. Found it on Golfnow (hint* great deals on Golfnow, book it here). I played on a Thursday morning at 06:17 and I really enjoyed this course. This course is located in a private neighborhood and it was a beauty to play here. There is a clubhouse, driving range, putting green, sand trap, and also banquet hall. The Staff were very friendly and helpful to your needs. The clubhouse had the newest equipment available for sale and they had a small snack bar area (wish it was bigger). I didn;t try the meals so I can not review that. The golf itself was great. The course itself is surrounded by the neighborhood boasting very nice homes and scenery. The tee boxes were well kept, fairways maintained and the greens were great. (Fast I must say). This course was long, I played the Championship tees which were about 7000 yds total? It is somewhat challenging but an amateur shouldn't have a problem. Overall I had a great experience and will be back to play here again.

Played the course in the cold and wind and wasn't upset. That's a sign of a great course. One of if not the best course in the metroplex. I would recommend it to Tiger Woods if he asked me. Great Course.....

Buffalo Creek is in good shape as it transitions from Winter to Spring. It is always a fun course to play. The greens are rolling fast and true. It is a great value when booked with GolfNow.

It was a great experience. The staff wss friendly and attentive. The course wss I great shape.

Fairways and greens are looking great. Great challenge for all levels of players. They had the grounds crew out working getting ready for the heart of spring. I can't wait to go back

The only complaint I have about this course is that it's a trip to get out there from downtown. In my opinion if you are coming from Dallas there are closer comparable courses that I'd rather play.

That being said everything was great. The pace of play was good and the marshalls were doing a good job keeping it that way. The fairways are still improving from winter but the greens are already in good shape.

Despite the drought, this course is well maintained, and the greens are excellent. Very professional staff. Beautiful layout. We enjoyed it!

Slow front nine, fast back nine. Greens were nice course in good shape.

Great course with plenty of challenge. Several long and difficult holes. H2O too! Play from the proper tees for a fun outing.

We have only golfed it with dormant grass and it seems like it will be very nice in season. Very fun and nice greens.
