Chilwell Manor Golf Club

I understand the current climate of golf is heading in this direction but I think this is an overpriced course. It was in good condition, greens were quick and well kept. Pace of play on the front 9 was slow but back 9 was much better. £50 for a round on Sunday I would be expecting not just a good condition but a good variation and challenge, this course is slightly too repetitive in my opinion. If the fees were cheaper I’d play regularly here but for me, it’s overpriced.

went with 3 other people and course was maintained wonderfully but a very hard course full of long par 4s so made less enjoyable for others as they are less confident golfers

The course, greens, fairways, bunkers were all in excellent condition.

The course layout is challenging but also forgiving in places.

Would recommend the course to all and sundry.

A very good golf course, in great condition. I got lucky with the weather today, but this course is well worth a round. Some great challenges for all, plenty of wildlife too. Nice pro shop who are helpful, practice facilities are great too. Would recommend to anyone who hasn't played here. I'm looking forward to playing here again.

Only holes 1-8 & 18 open but played twice to get full 18 in. Greens fantastic for time of year and how wet the course is

Played as part of a golf weekend. After reading all the positive reviews we decided to give Chillwell a go. The course is actually on a main road, pro, staff and members were all welcoming . The course is dead flat with a lot of up and down holes The fairways were still suffering from a dry summer and we're very patchy and the greens were tricky but so slow. All in all it's probably worth playing on a nice sunny day but is a little over hyped.

Good course, friendly staff. Flat terrain for the most part several tricky holes, above all great value. Highly recommended

Not bad not great just about okay. Perfectly decent track good result for the price paid. I’d recommend for sure just don’t have overly high expectations as you get what you pay for. Members were very welcoming.

have played here many times and always in great condition. unfortunately this time greens had been sanded and fertilised. would be nice to be told this before booking. spoilt the day out.

Played with my daughter’s boyfriend who’d never played at Chilwell Manor before and he was really impressed with the condition of the course for the time of year.

I’ve played Chilwell a few times over the years and really enjoy it. Nice little pro shop with lots of stock. Looking forward to playing again soon.

Course in good condition for time of year. Proper greens and fairways mainly OK. Winter tees, but no problem. Bunkers in good condition, but some bunkers being re-built. Good pace of play.
