An enjoyable course and was in good condition.

Tricky to read greens that are pristine. The course is a decent challenge as it is fairly narrow but well set out.

Really great day at chilwell started off with a very friendly welcome at the proshop. We found the whole course in excellent condition..Tees fairways and greens were a credit to the green staff. Very flat course which made it a pleasure to play as it was quite warm when we played. The halfway house and the clubhouse were excellent and the staff were friendly. Brilliant value all round and will definitely return..

Fantastic condition. Fairways a little bare in patches but the greens were professional standard. Really great few holes at the start and end of the course. Some tricky short holes to test your game too.

Overall a great experience right straight fairways and fabulous undulating fast true greens. Not played better greens this year and I have played at JCB! Five star would recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed our round here. Greens were very true and well kept. Fringes were lush. Fairways in excellent condition. Will return again and recommend to my friends.

Great welcome from the staff, continued by the ground staff working around the course - very friendly. Course was in great condition and the pace of play was unhindered.

Played here a few times and always enjoy it. Unfortunately on this occasion the greens had been tined. I appreciate it is a necessary evil but really spoilt the round. If we’d checked in advance we would not have played but they are usually in decent condition so give it a go.

Great day of golf, especially considering the time of year - New Years Eve. Weather was an ok 10C and cloudy but played on very good greens. No temporary greens at all. Course in good condition. Made to feel very welcome in the pro shop and bar. Highly recommend

Coarse is in poor condition after the long hot summer,grass has died on the fairway.Greens were very poor,Coarse nice layout a bit up and down.Would not play here again until next summer.

Great day. Played a 2 ball. Must say first few holes are fantastic on this course. The condition of tees fairways and greens is incredibly good. Putts roll true and hold their line anything you miss on the greens is down to you. Some straight up and down holes in the middle but lots with shape and plenty of hazards. Mature trees separate the fairways so if you miss loft required to get back in play.

I have been in the UK for just over two years now and played a few different courses in the Nottingham area. Chilwell Manor has slowly become my favourite course as it suites my style of play perfectly. I normally play alone as it is difficult to find someone to play with during the week. On this round I was paired with another very interesting guy. We had a great game and got to know each other a bit better. Hopefully this will turn into a monthly regular for me with my new golf buddy. The only disappointment for me is that the halfway house was closed and I have only seen it open once out of the 5 rounds that I played there. Overall a great course and highly recommended.

Really hot summers day. The course is very flat so perfect lies if you hit the fairway. Greens are tough with lots of borrows and up there on the stint meter. Course is quite short but many of the holes have doglegs so it is not simply a case of blasting a drive. You have to position the ball to get a good look at the pin for your second on the par fours. Fairways narrow in places.

The course was in excellent conditions and perfect weather made for a great day out. Greens were receptive and quick but the size and undulations made a potential 3 putt disaster in waiting. Although not a long course overall, there are challenging par 4's over 400 yards to make you work hard to get to the green.

As a single player I was paired with another two and so made decent pace around the course with interesting company. Pro was very hospital when booking in.

A flat course so not a killer but very interesting and in good condition, the pro and staff very friendly making it an enjoyable day out.
