Greens need help. A lot of areas need repair. Overall a good course. Played easily in 4 hours.

Thoroughly disappointed in the green condition at this time. Price way out of line to current course condition. I’ll give them a long break to get it together

Overall my two comments are the Pace of Play was a little slow, we approached 5 hrs. Second were the inconsistences in the Greens were not good. Each green was either Fast or Slow, Bumpy or Smooth, and you had to deal with one of those four combinations. I know with the winter we had some issues, which are inevitable, but this was pretty bad. I know they will get the Greens in good shape in a month or so, but I expected better.

Really not worth the price or drive. The fairways were barely fairways, and the greens were patchy and rough. If you live in round rock it could potentially be worth a quick round but if you live near Austin, don’t take the trip. HOWEVER the free hot dog and beer at the turn was a nice touch.

Every time I visit Forest Creek, I do have a great time. Staffs are friendly, especially starters and marshals.

Course condition was great, in my opinion, and the course does have challenging aspects so you're constantly motivated to play well.

One thing that I also like is how they provide you with hotdogs and drinks included in the price, as well as a small bucket of range balls.

Water is also included in the cart as well, something that many public courses stopped doing. You just feel like you're being treated nicely.

Last but not least, while playing golf, enjoy the surroundings and some really nice houses along the course :-)

Tee boxes and fairways where not green but there was grass out there. But all the the greens had no green. Just painted dirt. They don't seed with rye during the winter for whatever reason so the greens were bad. Mainly dirt and green paint.

Staff was so friendly and gave a great experience. Greens were not great, but as expected for this time of year. Layout was very challenging with some tight fairways. I don't recommend purchasing hot deal as it doesn't come with free range balls or free lunch with normal green fee.

Great course and layout - actually pretty tough but we played with some locals so got a lot of insight from them. It's February so the conditions were what they were..

Course was not in good shape. Greens looked like they had treated them with some kind of winterizing Fairways winter grass. Challenging course. Fun to play. Staff always pleasant. Love the free small bucket of range balls and free hot dog (even though I don’t eat meat).

Not worth the money! Greens are terrible don’t waste your time or money. So many better options in Austin.

I usually like playing this course. This Wed it was the worst I have experienced. Greens are usually in nice shape. They were average at best, same for fairways. But by far was the terrible pace of play. It took almost 3 hours to play the front 9. Two groups in front of us. From the 5th hole, we could see no one was on the 6th green, nor the entire par 5 7th hole. SO that one group was at least two holes behind. We never once saw a marshal to speed things along. Because of all this, I would not recommend the course until the pace of play improves.

Great course layout with challenging features. Only challenge was a frost delay (not a usual occurrence, I know). This created slow play and delay in getting off regularly scheduled tee time.

That aside, worth the drive.

I just can’t believe that these greens are in this condition after being replace 10 years ago. The greens are dormant like all greens are during winter, but these are covered in rot or fungicides. No true roll, your putting on rotted greens.

I was surprised - they sell a tee time BUT they did not give there full normal deal. They give a small bucket of range balls as part of there deal.
