About
Designed by Dick Phelps, Forest Creek Golf Club has been named "Best Public Golf Course in Central Texas" by Golf Digest as well as "Golf Club of the Year" by Club Corporation of America. Phelps' design features plush, narrow fairways, and its namesake Forest Creek that comes into play on 11 holes. Many of the holes dogleg, and its most difficult holes are the long par 4s. These holes are especially evident on the back nine, with holes 10, 15, and 18 all playing well over 400 yards. The 15th is the most difficult, playing a bogey-welcoming, par 5-like 472 yards.

Consistently Good
Greens were fuzzy and slow but apparently they are getting ready for a qualifier so understandable.
I believe they have the friendliest staff in the area . They always seem happy I am there.
Good attitudes all around.
I will be back.
Love it here
Course is great and the lay out can be very challenging. One thing I’ve noticed is that you’ll likely hit every club in the bag when playing here. Layout forces you to play smart. Hit ‘em straight or you’ll find trouble.

Course is in great shape. Challenging fun course. Staff far exceeds customer service and friendliness expectations. Small restaurant has amazing food. I will be back!
All around exceptional experience !
The management and staff at Forest Creek are seriously interested in making sure you have a great experience. I play at courses all over central Texas and these folks work hard at getting you to come back. They are welcoming, friendly and ready to help and it all seems genuine. They have Marshalls making sure pace of play stays reasonable and the practice facilities are always in great shape. The course is fun, challenging and maintained above average. My golf partners agree and after playing 15 courses in an around Austin, we have voted Forest Creek as our #1 or #2 course. I will be playing there frequently.
Super helpful staff & fun coarse to play
Some of us from work wanted to play a late Friday round. This was our first time to play Forest Creek Golf Club. All of the Forest Creek staff took extra time to explain everything we needed to know about the clubhouse, practice range and where to leave tee shots on the blind tee box holes. We will be headed back to play at Forest Creek soon!
Challenging Layout
Great course. I thought I had played this course before 20 years ago but a lot had changed. Still a great layout. I would recommend this course but make sure to play the correct tee box! Staff were really friendly & made it a peaceful round!!
Camz
Course in good shape for this time of year. The greens are excellent. Not to fast or slow and smooth. Holes 9 and 18 are real challenges.
Never Disappoints
Love this course. Pace of play is always decent. Layout is good, greens are in good condition and its a fair test of golf.
Round Rock Excellence
Staff seems like a great team. The course has practice areas, a club house, and a bar/grill (The Oaks) accessible from the parking lot. Definitely coming back here to play.
