About
Designed by Dick Phelps, Forest Creek Golf Club has been named "Best Public Golf Course in Central Texas" by Golf Digest as well as "Golf Club of the Year" by Club Corporation of America. Phelps' design features plush, narrow fairways, and its namesake Forest Creek that comes into play on 11 holes. Many of the holes dogleg, and its most difficult holes are the long par 4s. These holes are especially evident on the back nine, with holes 10, 15, and 18 all playing well over 400 yards. The 15th is the most difficult, playing a bogey-welcoming, par 5-like 472 yards.

Very nice tract since the remodel a couple years ago. Great value.
Great Overall Course
This has to be one of the best overall public courses in the area. Course could be in better shape, but significantly better than all city courses
Great golf course
Visiting from out of town, course played so well considering the cooler weather as of late. Kudos to the staff
Fun course
The course was in very good shape considering the time of year. Greens are fast but fair, staff was extremely helpful. Had a great round.
FC Never disappoints!!
Great track, hands down one of my favorite in the area! Friendly & welcoming staff, we’ll definitely be back .
Fairway conditions are not that great unfortunately
The fairways are are looking bad (I've seen better days at FC) and seems they are not being worked on or treated. Greens and tee boxes are great as usual but please put some work in on the fairways and even near the green, some spots are very thin and bare so its difficult to chip. Sand traps could improve too, some holes the sand is very hard and not soft. Overall, still a great course and staff are always friendly but please work on the fairways.
