Designed by Dick Phelps, Forest Creek Golf Club has been named "Best Public Golf Course in Central Texas" by Golf Digest as well as "Golf Club of the Year" by Club Corporation of America. Phelps' design features plush, narrow fairways, and its namesake Forest Creek that comes into play on 11 holes. Many of the holes dogleg, and its most difficult holes are the long par 4s. These holes are especially evident on the back nine, with holes 10, 15, and 18 all playing well over 400 yards. The 15th is the most difficult, playing a bogey-welcoming, par 5-like 472 yards.

Round Rock Excellence
Staff seems like a great team. The course has practice areas, a club house, and a bar/grill (The Oaks) accessible from the parking lot. Definitely coming back here to play.
Well manicured greens
Very much enjoyed Forest Creek. We will be back to play again.
All the tee boxes were awesome. Didn't need a pickaxe to put the tee in. The greens where good but super super fast. The fairways and off greens where in need of some water to green the place up. Now we are in spring FCgc should start to water alot more so rough and chipping area around the greens will actually have some grass to chip from.
Greens in great shape. Interesting topography/layout. Great pace of play on a weekday afternoon. Had a fantastic time!
Very nice tract since the remodel a couple years ago. Great value.
Great Overall Course
This has to be one of the best overall public courses in the area. Course could be in better shape, but significantly better than all city courses
Great golf course
Visiting from out of town, course played so well considering the cooler weather as of late. Kudos to the staff
