Forest Creek Golf Club

I play Forest Creek a couple times a month at least. The staff are always great, the course is maintained well and they don’t ‘stack’ folks up so the pace of play is generally good. Always an enjoyable outing.

Play this course often due to the course being in great shape and having actual grass in the fairways. Only complaint is the greens are always too slow, feels like putting in the fairway. Surrounding courses have faster greens, would be nice if they also made their greens the same.

They finally got new carts which is nice but this caused their prices to increase, not a fan of that. No reason to get new carts with GPS these days where everyone has a cell phone, they could of just got basic carts without it to save money.

The course is in great shape and the staff were very friendly. The course is short and tight. The hole layouts are challenging with well placed hazards. You really have to think and strategize when playing this course. My daughter and I really enjoyed it.

We got green fees, a cart, range balls, a sleeve of balls, a free beer and a hot dog at the grill, and entry into a raffle, all for the $50 it cost us to play today. And the course was in great condition. I will 100% be back.

Overall the course was in good shape and the value was tremendous. Greens were rolling great and true. Be careful off of the tee as you can drive through a lot of the fairways, even from the back tees. I would recommend and play again, especially for the price ($28)

If you want to start 20-30 minutes past your tee time, play here. Had a 5pm tee time and didn't get a cart until 530. Starter was rude and not smart. Told us to hold on for another few minutes as we were supposed to play with another twosome. I decided to just start and not wait as the last group that went off was at least 30 minutes before I did. Long story short, if I listened to the starter, we wouldn't have finished the front nine in hour and change and would've held up the groups behind us. Some starters at Forest are smart but beware. By the way, the twosome that was supposed to play with us didn't catch us until hole 13. Play as a foursome and we wouldn't have finished 18 but since we played separately, we finished 18 by teeing off at 530 and in the parking lot by 9pm. If there is a 30 min gap, it never makes sense to pair up as a foursome. Causes a bottle neck for the groups behind us. But I'm just upset at how some of the staff treat you. Please change this GM

Course was nice and challenging. The greens are huge and a challenge to read. Enjoyed it very much and will be coming back.

I play this course a lot. Once a week. Good conditions. Great Hospitality for a public course. Julian is a Marshall. He's the best Marshall in the area. I play 20 different courses a year, and Julian is the best. Forest Creek for me, is just as good as any course in town....and a better value than any.

Great layout that gets more fun the more you play it. You could take only irons and it would save you a lot more strokes than you lose by leaving the big sticks at home or in the trunk. Refurbished greens are infinitely better than before so if you haven’t played it since reopening, you will be pleased. They are pretty firm so don’t expect to fly it to the hole and have it stay.

This course was in great shape. In fact, I would say it was in as good if shape as some PGA tour quality courses I have played. Greens were some of the best I have been on. Staff was friendly and very attentive to what we needed. Course provided water on the first tee. We will definitely be back.

I got paired with two higher handicappers who lost their ball on the first hole. Granted they did take a little long, we were chipping green side and were met by their class-act golfing assistant. He drives up and brashly asks “what’s the deal, why are y’all taking so long.” He told us to pick our balls up and to go to the next hole. Other than the customer satisfaction, the golf course was in good shape.

I could play Forest Creek everyday if my body and wife would allow me too. The staff is very friendly and they actually care about its clients and I mean from the cart guys all the way up to the head pro. Oh yea... Be sure and try their lemon pepper wings and spicy fries!!!
