About
Designed by Dick Phelps, Forest Creek Golf Club has been named "Best Public Golf Course in Central Texas" by Golf Digest as well as "Golf Club of the Year" by Club Corporation of America. Phelps' design features plush, narrow fairways, and its namesake Forest Creek that comes into play on 11 holes. Many of the holes dogleg, and its most difficult holes are the long par 4s. These holes are especially evident on the back nine, with holes 10, 15, and 18 all playing well over 400 yards. The 15th is the most difficult, playing a bogey-welcoming, par 5-like 472 yards.

Good course
I enjoyed my round. Played with two other golfers. Finished round in 3 1/2 hours!
I would definitely go back
Pace was as slow as it has ever been
Tee time 220 went off on time. We were already waiting on hole two and then just got worse from there. It got so bad we didn't even get to finish the round two holes short before dusk and had to have the cart back. Almost as bad as Teravista on the Pace of play yesterday it has never been that bad but if that happens again I will not be back

To whom may concern
Me an my colleagues didnt meet the time.
Tee time was 4pm and we had arrived there around 4:10.
I requested them to play starting from 3~4th hole. They denied. I adked them again if we can play on half (9-18hole). They denied.
I had no choice but to reschedule the 4:40 tee time with paying all the money again.
May I ask you and team if it can be refund that I paid for 4pm tee times?
Course looks good
I have not played here for over a year. It appears to me as still a good layout and improved in some respects. I still think the course is too high for $70 a round! Seniors just can’t pay that on a limited income.

The greens are fast! Very nice course to play. I would definitely go back.
Awesome Course
Live in the area and this my home course ! Great layout and fun course ! The only reason it’s not 5 stars since the greens need some improvement to be a top tier course .
Nice Time
Great experience for the money. In great condition esp. the greens. Some bunkers unkempt from inconsiderate golfers. Good pro shop. Adding balls and lunch for $60 is a deal!
Heading in the right direction.
Looks like management turnover has leveled out and FC is making the appropriate focus on course conditions. Staffing is much more consistent and friendlier than recent years. I like where FC is heading and back on my list of local courses to play. Nice job FC, keep it up.

Book before lunch. Get driving balls and lunch. Course on good shape.
Great Course - Must Play!!
This course has it all. Great layout with a good mixture of holes that will keep you on your toes. Excellent mixture of risk and reward holes and shot opportunities. Fairways are plush, greens are smooth, roll true and hold approach shots well. Beverage cart comes around often and the pro shop and grill staff were great. Will definitely be coming back regularly.
The course is in great shape, and was surprisingly, and thankfully, not packed
The only negative is their beer is way too expensive
Back in Good Shape!
I played Forest Creek earlier this year and was very disappointed by the shape of all of their greens and the condition of the fairways . Having played this course for well over 20 years, I was really disappointed in how poorly the condition was.
However, I am happy to report a significant improvement since the late spring! I would say they are almost all the way back, but was certainly in very good condition yesterday! Service does seem to have dropped off, but, the best part of this course is the layout so I can overlook most of the other things!
