About
Designed by Dick Phelps, Forest Creek Golf Club has been named "Best Public Golf Course in Central Texas" by Golf Digest as well as "Golf Club of the Year" by Club Corporation of America. Phelps' design features plush, narrow fairways, and its namesake Forest Creek that comes into play on 11 holes. Many of the holes dogleg, and its most difficult holes are the long par 4s. These holes are especially evident on the back nine, with holes 10, 15, and 18 all playing well over 400 yards. The 15th is the most difficult, playing a bogey-welcoming, par 5-like 472 yards.

Awesome Course
Live in the area and this my home course ! Great layout and fun course ! The only reason it’s not 5 stars since the greens need some improvement to be a top tier course .
Nice Time
Great experience for the money. In great condition esp. the greens. Some bunkers unkempt from inconsiderate golfers. Good pro shop. Adding balls and lunch for $60 is a deal!
Heading in the right direction.
Looks like management turnover has leveled out and FC is making the appropriate focus on course conditions. Staffing is much more consistent and friendlier than recent years. I like where FC is heading and back on my list of local courses to play. Nice job FC, keep it up.

Book before lunch. Get driving balls and lunch. Course on good shape.
Great Course - Must Play!!
This course has it all. Great layout with a good mixture of holes that will keep you on your toes. Excellent mixture of risk and reward holes and shot opportunities. Fairways are plush, greens are smooth, roll true and hold approach shots well. Beverage cart comes around often and the pro shop and grill staff were great. Will definitely be coming back regularly.
The course is in great shape, and was surprisingly, and thankfully, not packed
The only negative is their beer is way too expensive
Back in Good Shape!
I played Forest Creek earlier this year and was very disappointed by the shape of all of their greens and the condition of the fairways . Having played this course for well over 20 years, I was really disappointed in how poorly the condition was.
However, I am happy to report a significant improvement since the late spring! I would say they are almost all the way back, but was certainly in very good condition yesterday! Service does seem to have dropped off, but, the best part of this course is the layout so I can overlook most of the other things!
Great Course, Well Maintained
This was my first time playing the course. I really enjoyed myself. The layout was great and the course was appropriately challenging. Liked the little touches like water provided by the course in a cart cooler. Also liked the directions given by the screen in the cart. Overall it was a great experience. .
Great course!!!
First time playing here. After a rainstorm. Course is challenging but yet forgiving as well. Would definitely recommend this course to anyone for either 9 or 18!!!
Pricey but totally worth it.
This course was a higher price than the average of the area but it was fantastic and completely worth every penny. Lunch included, range balls included, friendly staff, and cart girls every couple of holes. Course was super fun to play and in great condition. Would come again
Fun course with greens back to normal playing conditions
Great to see greens are back to good playing conditions. Needed more in the coolers in the heat of the summer as most were almost empty.
