Cleckheaton Golf Club

Shame the course was so wet. But very interesting holes. Would love to try it when the course had dried up. Staff and members very friendly. A very enjoyable round.

Probably my favourite local course

Very forgiving from the tees if your tee shots are wayward they are hard to lose. Still a challenging course though greens were great.

Excellent choice

Excellent course. Maintained in good condition with superb greens. Some interesting holes. Very forgiving rough means few difficulties with lost balls and good pace of play. Playing on a Friday afternoon as a 2 ball and no hold ups. Not without challenge as plenty of trees and water hazards to keep you thinking. Friendly locals who are clearly proud of their course.

What else is there to say?

First time playing here. Is a great course for both amateurs and skilled golfers. Unexpected traps to the inexperienced. Would recommend walking the course before playing it. Loved it and can’t wait to play it again.

Slowest pace golf I’ve ever played, walked off after 12

Great course however the pace of play was unplayable with 4-8 people stood at each tee box not including our 3 ball
