Cleckheaton & District Golf Club

First time playing here. Is a great course for both amateurs and skilled golfers. Unexpected traps to the inexperienced. Would recommend walking the course before playing it. Loved it and can’t wait to play it again.

Course excellent would have been good to be told there were some mats in play

Slowest pace of golf Iv ever played walked off after 12 holes

Great course however the pace of play was unplayable with 4-8 people stood at each tee box not including our 3 ball

Always polite good service. Bar open on a Monday. Great value for money

Course in good condition given the weather conditions. However, pace of play was very poor due to 4 ball not allowing anyone to play through resulted in backlog of four groups this isn’t the clubs fault. Took our 3 ball 4 1/2 hours to play 18. We will come back to the course to see what it is like in Summer as it does look a very good course for the money.

A great day out, fairway mats in operation but the fairways and greens were in great condition.

Nice to have a knock here and a great price.

Course in good nick green keepers doing a great job keep the leaves off the course a very enjoyable round will be back again

Having played Cleckheaton 4 times in the last fortnight I must say the green keepers and ground staff do an excellent job keeping the course in super condition. Always seem to be out and about tidying up leaves a thankless task at this time of year but one that needs doing on all courses. The greens run true and are well kept. Keep up the good work it doesn’t go unnoticed 👏👏👏👏👏

Course was excellent aswel as the practice facilities. Only downside was £15 to hire a trolley (I thought he’d charged me for a buggy) and the beer in the club was expensive. The course however is definitely worth the £20-£30
