Good 3 sets of 9
Played this course a number of times, mainly foxes and badgers. All 3 9s are pretty interesting and a fair test. No real complaints. Would recommend.
Great course!
What a great course!
A little confusing at first knowing there’s 3 different 9 holes, but it’s fantastic. Some of the fairways are tight side by side but gives it that challenge you want! Some great scenic holes! Didn’t see one bad conditioned hole!
One of the best courses I’ve played!
Great course!
Me and a friend played here for the first time on Sunday and it was brilliant. We aren’t the greatest golfers, so I was a little nervous going somewhere new, but the guy in the pro shop was friendly and helpful and guided where to go. We played Foxes Run and Badgers Sett and they were lovely courses and quite forgiving for someone of my ability. The pace was fine for the first 9, but we were behind a 4 ball the second 9 and was a little slower, but gave us chance to soak up the sun and check out the views. 100% recommend and will be our new go to course!
Great course for time of year
Amazing course in great condition. Great value for money
Nice course if a little wet
Nice layout of course, 3 sets of 9. They always put you on fox's and badger, presume you have to pay more for the deer course. Greens good, bunkers good, tees hit and miss - they have mats on some which I actually prefer in winter when the normal tees are wet and slippery but these are only on some. The only bug bear was there was a lot of green-keepers on the course and they seemed to be oblivious to players i.e going on to greens to change holes over when you were approaching the green, they should have waited but didn't which wasn't the best.
The shop staff was friendly enough and the clubhouse has a cafe and bar. Would recommend - particularly in summer, 15 minutes from Kidderminster.
Muddy
Course very wet and muddy especially on the Foxes nine. Greens ok but tees and rest of course poor condition. Would avoid playing here until the spring. Course is lovely in the summer.
Some great holes15 th par 3 stunning
Lovely course was getting wet under foot so was surprised they still let people out in buggies . The course is really well planned out with lovely views all around. The 15 th on Badgers sett is a par 3 130 yard seriously down hill the green is s surrounded by water with the forest behind, stunning!
An amazing course.
Pro shop staff were very friendly and helpful explaining the course layout. The course was well manicured with mostly wide fairways. We played after heavy rain the previous night and despite this we had a very good game with very few wet patches. Restaurant staff were very efficient and friendly.
Loved it
I know there will be places with better courses and amenities around England, but I totally enjoyed the day from start to finish. Excellent midday breakfast.

Course in really good condition and always a pleasure to play. A very friendly welcome received from everyone connected with the club.
Reasonable course but slowwwww
Nearly 5 hours was just too much. It was like buggy city and with it being warm it kind of spoilt it for me.
The course itself is OK and it was in reasonable nick so no real complaints there.
If you don't mind an age to play then this is for you.
A challenging, but pleasant 18.
Due to the excessive rain all courses have had recently, and another downpour the night before. Made this 18 a bit muddy. For anyone that doesn’t know CMGC, it has three 9 hole courses. In my opinion Deers being the most difficult, then Badgers followed by Foxes. With three courses, you don’t get cueing!!! I played Badgers & Foxes, Badgers has a par 3, said to be the most attractive in Shropshire. It is!
Staff in the pro shop always helpful, even the green keepers will stop and have a natter.
Then hole 19, provides good service and nourishment.
Just give it a while to let the course dry out a bit.
Attractive Parkland Course.
A nicely laid out course in beautiful surroundings. The recent incursion of Storm Babet meant that only 9 holes were playable. These were very enjoyable. Will return to play again in drier times.
Middle of the road.
Overall our experience at Cleobury was okay. The weather probably made our round harder however as beginners we were wedged in between a seniors competition. I take responsibility for not staying on the notes that we were beginners but after talking to the the players behind us , they agreed that there was a huge miscalculation from our placement on the Tee Sheet. We let one group pass and I went into the Pro Shop before we played the back nine as we didn’t feel it would be right to slow the other golfers behind us. The staff were very friendly and said to play the third nine that was free at the time.
For Thirty pounds , The course was not horrible but the conditions of the fairway puzzled us. We found the fairway was a little overgrown compared to other courses we have played at. The layout was confusing for us as we got lost on the second hole (foxes run) and walked to the flag instead of the tee box and therefore let a group through. The golfers behind we’re understanding and said again it wasn’t our fault. At this stage of of golfing experience it’s about learning and enjoying the game and last week I would say was our least favorite day we have golfed.
When you compare the price of this club too an Ombersly , it’s cheaper however the quality and premium you get there felt a lot more than £8 pounds.
