A gem of a golf club.
Pleasantly surprised at what a nice club this was to visit. Firstly, very friendly from the outset. Lovely breakfast at a reasonable price to start our day. Not very busy and felt at times we had the course to ourselves (great). Course itself was in an excellent condition and was a good challenge throughout the round. Interesting features mostly consisting of bunkers around the greens and a couple of streams meandering through the course which just made it that little bit harder. Greens were quite bit but ran true. Very enjoyable round and will definitely be back with a few more friends next time around.
nearly charged twice
excellent welcome from members who aided my questions add to where to go add the pro shop shut, and so was the office.
staff in the bar had just returned from holiday and didn't know what was happening but luckily a female member helped us out.
course reminds me of lakes course at the Vale resort in Wales
lots of leaves and undulating fairways on the front 9.
pretty tight layout for one of us.
greens were in fairly good condition in comparison
Good little course - great value
This was the first time a friend and I had played Cosby. The weather was atrocious with a howling wind and the constant threat of rain but the course held up well. We played on a Friday afternoon and were surprised that the course was relatively empty.
The course was in good condition with the greens particularly well kept.
I thoroughly enjoyed my round and was especially pleased with the friendly service at the bar. The shower facilities are excellent too.
We'll definitely be back
Great course
Played here for the 1st time with my brother in law, I'm 12.2 hcp and my brother in law is about 25hcp and loved this course, was told before hand by a few people i know to hit fairway because it's a bit narrow in places and they was right , but it made you focus more , greens was amazing , pure roll and not the bobbles that you get on most public courses that i play mostly because i don't have a club , i couldn't recommend this course enough , will be definitely playing here again
Great course. Greens are excellent considering the time of year.
