Online booking has it's flaws.
We had wet weather running up to our game and on the day the fog came down thick in places. The course was soaked and we at times couldn't see the players in front or at the sides for this sliced and hooked shots. Two out of four of the group thought it was affecting the course by playing. The pro lent me a golf bag as they had just ran out of trolleys. Electric trolleys not allowed which I knew before I arrived but just unfortunate not to bag one. We enjoyed most of the game and the hot chocolate at the end. We will play there again but watch for the forecasts. Leicesgt
Good to Excellent Parkland Course, well cared for with top facilities
Been a few years since I last played Kirby and I was really pleased to find how much it has improved. Changes to the course have added some distance and made the holes more relevant and challenging (11th especially ) but biggest improvement is within the greens and care and preparation of the course. Greens were quick & consistent, bunkers, Tees and fairways well groomed. Bruce (the Pro) is a great character and top club professional who welcomes all. Clubhouse staff & catering excellent. Definitely will go back again soon. What would make this course excellent, for me on review excellence is based on a Championship type venue focussed on the golf course challenge, Kirby has excellence in all areas but doesn’t have the distance or killer holes to earn that review level.
Kirby Muxloe
Playing the course for the second time. Really disappointed in the condition of the fairways and semi rough. Only saving grace was the greens. Considering this is a wealthy club I would question the green keepers grass cutting schedule. Playing in Scotland is a dream compared to Kirby Muxloe.

Excellent day course and greens in excellent shape credit to green staff for getting the course in this condition
Good course and condition
Good condition for the time of year, the staff are really friendly. If the halfway house is open it's an absolute bonus, the guy there is great, food lovely. Definitely play it again...
Great condition
A lovely parkland course with some great holes a true test of your game
Good day out
Course in good condition, be careful of the ponds in front of final holes. Greens very true, pins all accessable. Very good experience.
