textbook golf course

I've played here several times. It's a good course with a fair mix of holes. Some random trees in middle of fairways but generally wide and accomadating. Suitable for any handicap but good golfers should be ripping the place up, that said golfers of all levels will enjoy it here. Other than the 4th that is, dogs dinner of a hole. When we played the course was in good condition. Fairways much greener than alot of the other Norwich courses I played that week. Greens were in good condition but were very fluffy and ran very slow. Proshop staff were friendly with nice bar area by 18th where you can enjoy a beer and sit outside.

Costessy Park, A Norfolk Gem

I honestly cannot think of anything negative to say about this course, its staff or its condition. Set in beautiful surroundings the staff and members very friendly. Greens and tees were in great condition with watering and cutting visible as we played. As a intermediate player I found the course to be challenging and rewarding. I can definitely recommend Costessey Park and will be returning again.

Lovely track

A really well designed course with some short par 3’s, tight fairways and longer holes that plays fairly for the mid handicapper.

Pace of play was excellent given I was playing on my own, with good etiquette shown by other golfers (four groups allowing me to play through).

A few bare patches around the greens and poorly placed signage to direct you to the next tee being the things which let the layout down.

I would (and will) definitely play here again.

Tree lined

Lovely tree lined course, very mature and established. Could do with some yard markers (150 to the green) but otherwise a pretty great place to play golf, Greens were in great condition.

first time since course layout change

Very impressed with condition of course, greens hold and are fast even when wet. Need to be accurate off the tee. Longer and harder since course layout change.
