Cranleigh Golf & Country Club

Nice days golf on a Bank Holiday Monday, course was fairly busy but round was too slow as held up by two fourballs a couple of groups ahead who weren't allowing others through. Only other issues were layout/proximity of a few holes (Tee Boxes too close), and some greens seemed to have been over-watered as there were some boggy areas on a few.

Impressive clubhouse structurally, but badly lacking a Pro Shop, dedicated golf amenities totally insufficient. Or if they were available reception did not advise. Also the bar area, spacious with a nice patio. But no food menu's on display which dissuaded me from having some food before or after despite nearly an hour to tee time. If it's available, make menu's readily available without having to ask for them...

Very interesting course, greens in great condition. Would recommend.

A very tricky and challenging course for all levels of golfer it's a very picturesque course and lots of wildlife around which is always nice to see, the course layout is confusing when you first play but you soon get use to it and then you can then play to your strengths i highly recommend, shame about the halfway hut is closed but I'm sure that will be open sooner rather than later especially through the winter months for golfers to get warmed up with a hot drink!!!

A bit boggy after the rains but holding up generally pretty well. Good value for the price we paid. Like the course setup. Some challenging holes. Generally enjoyable round!

Overlapping holes and could do with better navigation aids, as mentioned elsewhere...but an entertaining and quite tricky hilly parkland course, well worth experiencing. Course mostly in decent shape (even in current very wet winter conditions) and some challenging holes packed into a small area. Was quiet when we played, could be a bit dangerous when/if busy, but v enjoyable and would play again.

Great course. Good value. Lovely food and drink. Would recommended to all.

Didn’t get held up at all playing on Easter Friday, am enjoyable round. The course is fairly short but some challenging holes. For a mid / high handicapper Such as the first hole

Lovely day with a great course, only a few small issues. Firstly, please put up a few signs to show where the next hole is. The course runs across each other so its hard to see which is the next hole. Secondly, slow play and groups ignoring a few pieces of etiquette like ringing the bell once they were finishing holes etc. However they didnt ruin a great 3 ball.

Enjoyed this course, generally in good condition. Bunkers not good but I suppose this was due to heavy rain the night before we played. Don't be put off by the short length of this course as it provides a good test of your golfing ability, it is quite refreshing to play a course that you are not smashing a driver from every tee.

Will definitely play again.

The course was in good condition. It could do with a few more signs to the next tee but generally OK.

For a high handicapper it is tough, but as it is relatively short at least you are hitting shots often enough to get some rhythm.

The sort of course that you could really enjoy the third time you played there.

Found this course at a great price on Teeofftimes app. It's a little out the way but worth the journey. Course in good condition and challenging enough to want us to return.

Despite the par 68 & short course this was a real test. A very tricky course & a good test for your short game. Course was in great condition. Staff were very friendly & welcoming. Will be returning.

Beautifully kept course. A little short but challenging enough. It's one of our favorite courses.

I have played Cranleigh half a dozen times this summer and it has quickly become a favourite for our family. The course is tight with a wide range of different holes that require some clever thinking off the tee. The course has always been in good condition and plays harder than the SSS suggests. Facilities are good as it is part of a country club. The only negative is that the staff are not golf savvy and could do with improving their friendliness.
