Challenging when it needs to be and fairways in prestine condition, saw maybe 2 golfers the whole round so pace of play was great we got round in 2 hours 45, staff were extremely helpful, only thing I’d say is facilities are limited but well worth playing

From first pulling up, to the Welcome from the staff you definitely got a sense that the team here take pride in the club. The golf course was exceptional for the start of the golf season with the fairways full and forgiving and the greens fast and very playable. Would highly recommend for golfers of all abilities but it really is a test of golf.

This course could be so much more!! some great, great holes but overall the course is tatty and not in great condition. £20 something is an ok price to play here, £30 tops any more and I would be greatly disappointed.

A bit soft underfoot at the time, however the greens were in excellent condition.

Very disappointed to have travelled a long way to find the course totally unplayable .

Greens were covered in snow / frost and rock hard. .

The fairways were frozen and it was impossible to put a tee in the ground .

Summed up by first hole , hit a shot onto green and it bounced 30 yards over into woods never to be seen again .

Gave up this farce after 10 holes !

The course was completely unplayable should not of been open . The ground was frozen and covered in snow z the greens were covered in snow and ice and rock hard . I hit it onto first green and it rocketed 30 yards into woods !

It was impossible to get tee in ground and the pathways were icy and dangerous. We travelled a long way to play and had to abandon at halfway . A complete waste of money, cannot understand how they thought this course playable !

Great course and Great condition for time of the year. Every hole is different and challenging.

A good, affordable course. But it's a little soft in winter, like a lot of non'downland courses in Surrey and Sussex. Would probably be great in summer

Inadvertently booked the Saturday instead of the Sunday but when the lady realised my mistake she solved it instantly by getting me out with a 2 ball

Hope the rumours that the course is going to be invested in whilst at the same time a new fancy hotel with spa complex will be built are true!

Although there are doubts about the future of the course it is being maintained to a high standard. There are a number of holes that are challenging and course management can be important. We frequently play the course when the tee times and prices are right. It will be a shame if the course no longer exists. We had some society days there when the facilities were better about 20 years ago now. We will continue to play there as and when the opportunities arise.

A lovely course in excellent condition, surprisingly quiet (a mid day, mid week.summer’s day), friendly staff. Quite a variety of holes with differing degrees of difficulty.

Few spaces infront of us so flew round the course, whole site just needs some love and attention. Some nice holes just needs tidying up everywhere for how much was being charged compared to other places

Challenging course, some tee boxes uncared for and very uneven
