About
Silverhorn Golf Club of Texas, located only 15 minutes from San Antonio's Riverwalk, has quickly gained a reputation as being some of the best golf in Texas. The layout covers 262 scenic acres of rolling hills covered in mature oaks and cedar trees. The challenging golf course features tree-lined fairways and carefully contoured greens. There are also lakes and creeks, both dry and wet, coming into play throughout the golf course. The front nine's signature hole is the par-5 sixth, which has 20 acres of water bordering the entire left side, while the back nine's signature is the par-4 15th, which is considered the toughest hole on the golf course. This 446-yard hole features an elevated green that is guarded by a large bunker on the left and two creeks crossing the fairway.

Of course was in just OK shape. Greens were recently invented, but they rolled OK. A lot of washout areas and bald spots on the course. Should be in a little bit better shape for the price.
Love this Course
I have played Silverhorn many time. It is always in good shape and pace of play is always good. Just wish they would turn on the outdoor AC!! LOL!!
Good course
This course was $118 to play 18 holes plus an additional $35 for a rider? This is the 2nd time I have played here and the prices seem to be a little steep. When asked if they do military or anything the guy at the desk was very rude and said “no that’s what it is.” I am not asking for a free rider but to be rude is another thing. If I would not have purchased the round on GN I would have just left and played another course that is a lot more friendly. This is not a bad course but it’s certainly not a top tier course and the customer service is the worst I have seen in SA.
Great day in the ciurse
Silverhorn is one of my favorite tracks. The condition of the course was superb. Fairways, greens, tee boxes all in great shape. The ambiance of the course is excellent. No complaints.
My wife and I always have fun at Silverhorn! The course is in very good shape. The staff friendly as usual. Cart girl came around at least 4 times!

Fun course, Great value
Solid course for the price! Greens are good, not great. Always busy, so expect a 5 hour round. Back nine has 4 good holes, the rest is kind of blah. Too many short par 4s, so expect to leave the driver in the bag or find yourself in trouble.
One of the best courses in San Antonio right now.
Course is in great shape both on the fairways and the greens. Just wish there were ball washers either on the course or on the cart. A definite must play for locals and visitors.
Great course
Course was in great shape, deer thru out the course. Lots of trees to keep it cooler, very well set up course. Pace was great, not a single complaint

Water
Nice course. Challenging. But come on. Put back the water on the course. Brought a big jug. Still ran out and no refreshment cart seen!

First course played in Texas
It was dry and hot but the course was in good condition. I was paired with a young lady and after four holes a foursome in front of us let us play through...smooth sailing, possibly due to 90+ heat. Course was narrower than I'm use too but enjoyable.
